Jill's POV

"OBI!" I stumbled over to Oberdorf with two beers.

"Yes! Thank you." We clinked the two bottles together as we stood with Leah, Georgia, Keira, Ingrid, Aitana, and Fridolina.

"Tonight is your first night as a fucking Alpha squad member, enjoy it." I raised the glass with a smile to the freshman.

"Have any of you seen Ona?"

"No, don't care much either." I dismissed Aitana's question as she walked away.

"I'm not sure why Blair even chose the second girl. We got all that we need right here to continue greatness. Isn't that right Ob?" Lena gave a confident smirk and a small nod as she sipped from the beer bottle. I loved the days we spent at our previous school together and those were without powers.

Lena's abilities were awesome. Being able to change into any animal on Earth and exhibit their individual traits or powers was much more useful than it sounds. Sure she can turn into a 400 pound tiger or 10 pound monkey. The options are endless. Also she can turn into a shark and breathe under water or an owl and have perfect night vision and flight.

"You could be a little nicer to Ona." Ingrid stepped closer to me and whispered.

"Why so?"

"I know Oberdorf is like a little sister to you, me, and Fridolina, but it does not give you the right to outcast Ona. Blair chose her." I hated that the beautiful green eyed girl next to me had a point. I just didn't seem to have anything to like about Ona yet. She's just some random girl that not many people know about.

"Blair makes questionable choices."

"She's always right." Ingrid argued back again.

"I will try to be nicer." Try, but fail.

"Thank you love." She leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on my lips.

That was quickly followed by a fake whip noise. Fucking Williamson.

"Shut up Leah."

"I didn't say anything." Our senior smiled at me knowing if I began to fight with her Ingrid would make me stop.

"Aitana, Ona." Fridolina greeted the two girls as one returned.

"Congrats on being part of the team dude." Lena gave her shoulder a playful shove.

"I'd like to say I'm still in shock...is Blair around?" The smaller Spanish girl quickly scanned the room.

"Team leads don't come to this. Look up there. You see that small fire. That's them watching down to us. Don't fuck up."

"Ignore Jill. She's a few drinks in and a few braincells short." Aitana sent me a look.

"So what is Blair like? I mean plenty of us have heard the stories, but as a leader she's different I take it?" Lena asked us all.

"What are these stories? I will admit I do not think to be on the same knowledgable level as the rest of you. Maybe I will learn as I attend, but for now may I ask who Blair Laid really is?" Ona sheepishly admitted to us.

How could she be so ignorant?

"Blair's one of the greatest to ever live...she finished the academy a year early. She began it early as well. Her powers are different. She's so very different. That being said Blair is an absolutely incredible leader, but she's tough." Leah always spoke so passionately about Blair.
