CH 27

Sorry for the late update..my health wasn't well🤧

ARUSHI

"Hey jijs!" Apurva spoke as she peered at Ishan. He smiled slightly and said, "Hello" in return. Ishan grabbed my bag while I waved my hands at her. He opened the door and made me buckle up once I got in. He proceeded to the driver's seat and closed the door.

"How was your day?" I asked, sipping from my bottle of water. "Alright," he responded, and I turned to face him, hearing his icy tone.

Strange...?

"Is everything alright Ishan?" I asked looking at him and he hummed as a response. I thought not to bother him much. Maybe cause of work stress he is acting cold.

As soon as we arrived at our house, he entered without opening my side door. Is he really that furious? Has something occurred to him?

I went to our room after keeping the car key on its place. Ishan have already changed into his cosy clothes and is frantically typing on his laptop.

I strolled to the washroom to freshen myself and put on my pyjamas. As I emerged, I approached him.

"What shall I prepare dinner?" I enquired. "I will skip" I scowled. "And why so?" With my hands crossed over my chest, I asked. "Not in a mood," he shot back. "Having food doesn't depends upon mood" I replied back.

He looked at me. Nah he glared at me. "If you wanna have then go and prepare something for yourself and eat. M not in a good mood to fight"

Sorry?

"Ishan what's wrong?" I asked softly. "You can share it with me.." I said sitting down beside him. "The thing is everything and everyone around me are correct and I m the one who is wrong" he replied back throwing his phone in anger. I flinched and looked at him with my widen eyes.

He ruffled his hair in frustration and gave me a quick look. "Sorry," he wishedfully said before hurriedly leaving the room.

I was so shock to process about what just happened. Is he my Ishan? But he never behaves like this, atleast not infront of me. What's wrong with him?

I got up from the couch without giving it much thought and started to go towards the door. The broken glass from the phone sliced my skin, and I growled in pain. I screamed out loud.

My eyes began to well up with tears due to the pain. I tried to take the glass off my foot while crying. I struggled for a long time before I was able to remove the glass piece.

I got up with difficulty and moved slowly in the direction of the couch. I pulled the first aid kit out of the drawer and used the cotton to dab at the blood that was leaking out. My vision started getting blurry, and my eyes were still filled with tears.

I couldn't walk further to the bed so I laid down on the couch itself and closed my eyes still sobbing.
