A long chapter is finally here! 😭👍🏻

ISHAN POV

I proceeded to the passenger seat and unlocked the car door gently. She smiled and put her hands on mine when I held my hand out in front of her.

"Stay close to me sweetheart" I spoke out, putting my other hand around her waist to yank her in closer.

As soon as we entered the arena, a large crowd had already assembled. The majority of businesspeople and the Chowdhury family too are present at the celebration hosted by Aahan's family.

"Hello bhabijaan" Aahan said excusing himself from some guests and walked towards us. "Hello Aahan and congratulations" she said as they both hugged each other. "Wait here I will be back soon sweetheart" I said and walked in the direction of the Italian company's owner with whom we collaborated a few weeks ago.

I was busy in talking and was making sure to take a glance at my wife time to time. She was right now talking with Apurva and some of her other friends.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and when I moved back I saw Mom, Dad, Vanya and Abhay. Touching the feet of mom and dad I hugged Vanya and Abhay and then my parents.

"You guys are late" I said. "Traffic bhaii" Vanya said as I hummed. "Where is my daughter in law?" Asked mom. "Over there" I pointed. "Let me go to her" she said and Vanya and Abhay followed her too.

A smile formed on my lips watching how caring they are towards her. They hugged each other and started talking. "How is everything going on my son?" Dad asked keeping his hand on my shoulder. "All well dad" i replied.

"I hope you are taking good care of Arushi" I nodded. "Yes I am." He nodded back.

"Hey brother" I said approaching towards Vikram the moment he came inside the venue. " Hello bro" he said hugging me back. "How's everything going on ?" I asked. "Good" he replied shortly. Cold jerk.

"Make sure to take good care of my sister. Your sister is in safe hands and same goes to my sister. But I swear Vikram if she cries because of you I won't let you live peacefully" I said looking at him.

He chuckled coldly. "Stay calm" I sighed at his reply. In a few days Vikram and Vanya will be getting engaged and I don't understand why this cold jerk still have to be cold. The main thing which I m unable to understand is how he agreed for the wedding.

"Bhaiyaa" Arushi walked towards Vikram hugging him tightly. "How are you bub" he said hugging her back. "I missed you so much" she said pulling out of the hug. "I missed you too" he replied pecking her forehead. I smiled looking at them. "I will be back" Arushi said looking at us and went in the direction of Apurva.

M gonna miss Vanya a lot. Within few months she will be called as Shekhawat. My little princess is grown up. She is going to get married.

"Bhaii?" Her voice reached my ears as I turned around. "Yes Vanya?" I asked looking at her. She pulled me and bought me to a place away from the people around. "You okay princess?" I asked. "Hmm" she hummed pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back and started carresing her hair.
