Chapter 13 - Avni Vivaan meets

Mathura 

On reaching the hotel at Mathura, all the elders came down and younger ones started collecting the luggage. Vikram came to welcome everyone and hugged Kushal. 

Kushal - Ye hai mera sabse aacha dost aur business partner Vikram Raheja. Aur ye hai Ansh ke dadaji, dadiji and Maa. 

Everyone exchanged namaste and then went off to their room to take rest due to a tiring journey. 

As soon as the younger clan gets off the bus, Swara and Aarohi are crushed by a hug from none other than Avni. 

Avni - Diiiis! I missed you both soooo much. 

Aarohi - Aree, toh aaj hi maar dalegi kya? Saas toh lene de. 

Avni whines - Swara diiiiiiii

Swara - Aaru...

Swara, with a smile - We missed you too Avni. 

Avni, with excitement - Aree dii pehle mujhe jiju se toh milvao. 

Swara - Ye hai Ansh. Aur Ansh, ye hai Avni. Jaise aap sab aur aakriti bachpan se saath hai vaise hi hum teeno bhi bachpan se saath hai. 

Avni, chirps - Hiii jiju!!

Ansh giggles seeing her excitement and replies- Hii Avni. 

Anvi - Vaise dii maane padega aapki choice. Jiju bohot handsome hai. 

Ansh - Abb kya kare aapke behen ke standards ko match karna padega na. 

They laugh at this. 

Then Swara introduces her to Aakriti, Viraj, Nirav. But Vivaan was just sulking like a kid standing far away from them. 

Swara - Vivaan, tum vaha kyu khade ho? Yaha toh aao. 

Vivaan comes near her. 

Swara - Ye hai mera sabse chota aur sabse pyaara devar......

Avni, surprised - Vivaan!!!

Swara, more surprised - Haa. Parr tumhe kaise pata?

Hearing her voice, Vivaan also looked at her and was equally surprised. 

Avni - Vo dii, he was my senior at college. 

Avni, turning towards Vivaan with a smile - Hii Vivaan!

Vivaan smiles and was about to talk but realises his punishment and keeps quiet and leaves from there towards his room so that he can get free from the punishment. Others were laughing at his situation whereas Anvi's smile dropped. 

Swara - Kya hua?

Avni - Khuch nahi dii, aap sab fresh ho jaiye. Ye aapke room keys. 

And everyone moves to freshen up. 

Vivaan finally reaches his room followed by Viraj and Nirav who are suppressing their smiles. 

Vivaan - Aap logo ko mujh bechare parr thodi bhi daya nahi aati na?. Kitna aatyachar karte hai aap aapne chote se, cute se, bhole se bhai parr! Dekhna aapko aapke karmo ka faal jarur milega. Aap sab ke biwiyo ko na mai aapne side kar lunga. Fir dekhna aap...........

And he nonstop blabbers for another 10 minutes. 

Viraj - Baas karja bhai!! Thoda paani hi pi le. 

This makes Vivaan stop and the other two laugh loudly. 

Vivaan - Bhai abb kabhi aaise punishment dene ke baare sochna bhi mat aap. 

Nirav - Bilkul nahi. Mujhe kya pata tha ke 3 ghate chup rehne ke baad tu itni badbad karega. Aur vo bhi nonstop. 

Vivaan, whines - Nirav bhai!!!

He stomps his foot and leaves from there leaving his brothers laughing. 

Avni was in the corridor busy in her thoughts. She was having a secret crush on Vivaan which no one knows other than her. Vivaan was a very funny and popular guy of their college. She used to admire him but never confessed it to him as, being a social guy, he was always surrounded by so many people. And anyway it was just a crush, atleast she thought so. And we cannot go and propose every crush of ours, right? Hence she thought to be his friend. But after he completed his course, they never met, as there was no reason left for that. 

She met him after almost a year, but he didn't even reply to her. Have he forgotten me? Doesn't he even want to talk to me? These things were roaming in her mind continuously, making her more and more sad. 

She was too engrossed in her thoughts when she bumped into someone and their heads hit each other

Avni and him, rubbing their template - Ouchhhhhhh!!

Avni looks up to find Vivaan. 

Vivaan - Ohh. I am so sorry. Tumhe lagi toh nahi Avni. 

Avni - Ohh, so abb tumhe mera name yaad aa gaya. Bahar toh tumhe mere hi ka reply tak nahi dena tha. 

She said pouting cutely and crossing her hands near her chest. Vivaan giggles at her cuteness and pinches her checks

Vivaan - Aww! How cute. 

Anvi was melting with his actions but choose to shove off his hands and glare at him which was making her more cute.

Vivaan - Accha plzz gussa mat karo. I am soo sorry. I know tumhe mera behaviour bohot rude laga hoga. But I didn't mean to ignore you Avni. Vo actually hum bus mai Dumcarades khel rahe the and mujhe usme punishment mili thi not to talk till I reach the hotel room. Iss liye mai jaldi se room mai chala gaya, bina tumhe khuch bole. Sorry. 

Vivaan holds one of his ears with a cute pleading expression saying sorry. This makes Avni smile. 

Avni - OMG! The Vivaan Vaishnav ko itni der chup baithna bhi aata hai?

She said laughing. 

Vivaan, sulking again - Abb please, tum bhi mat shuru kar dena. By the way after such a long time we met na. Mai college se kya chala gaya, tum aapne dost ko bhul gayi na? 

He pouts. Now how should she tell this duffer how much she has missed him. 

Avni - Tumne konsa mujhse milne ke koshish ke. 

Vivaan - Actually you are right. Mai kaam mai itna busy ho gaya ke time hi nahi nikal paya. 

Avni - Koi baat nahi. Abb toh hum puri trip saath hi hai. 

Vivaan - Yep, aur uske baad toh vaise bhi hamara rishta jud jayega.

Avni widened her eyes at this. 

Avni - Matlab?

Vivaan - Swara Bhabhi ke family humari bhi family hue na? 

Avni - ohhh....yesss

Vivaan - Ok. So i will go and just freshen up. Meet you soon.

Avni - Yaa.

And both of them left for their rooms but now avni was happily jumping as she will get a chance to be near him and god knows if she might get a chance to express her feelings this time. And there our Nautanki Vivaan was having no idea of what effect he is having on her.
