Though it had only been 2 days since their last encounter, there was something about that night which made her anticipate for their next meeting. There was something unsettling about their conversation.

No they did not fight, but they were not on good terms either; cliff-hanging.

Strangest of all, Riki who was usually the type to curse and seek for revenge, did not seem as enraged as Aira thought he would've been.

Perhaps it did not matter that much to him that she got played.

"Aira!" Remi's room echoed across the classroom which caught the attentions of her classmates as well. Even though class had not officially began yet, Remi felt bad for barging in. Hence, to counteract her disruptive manner, the older girl quickly gestured for the younger girl to come out of the class.

Before Aira could even manage to greet her friend, Remi had broken the news.

"Nishimura and Sato got into a fight. A physical fight. Like the ones with blood and bruises." Remi rapped out.

It was definitely too early for anyone, let alone Aira, to process the news in.

"I wasn't there since the beginning but I heard your name come out of both of their mouths." Remi shook her head in disbelief. "Girl, what did you do for them to fight over you."

"Huh?" Aira, who was still loading, was in great perplexity. "Where are they?"

Instead of verbally responding, Remi grabbed onto Aira's arm before dragging her to the spot she saw them. However, only after reaching ground level did they see the two males.

The two of them were trailing behind the principal with a couple of other teachers holding onto each student's shoulders.

Despite the crowd around the hot topics, it was easy to see the one Aira was more curious about. Thanks to his great height, she was able to see the state of his face. Luckily, it was not as bad as she thought. There was blood trickling down his mouth but apart of that, his (attractive) face was left unharmed. Curious for the other party, her eyes widen upon the sight of Sato; greatly harmed.

Sighing in both disappointment and relief, as her eyes landed back on Riki, his were already looking at hers. Not expecting much from him, especially from their conversation the other night, she was surprised for him to even acknowledge her.

However, what surprised her the most was the way he mischievously smiled before mouthing words she never thought would come out of his mouth.

"Sorry"

As the grand office closed, it was a signal that the commotion was over.

Aira had no idea Remi had left her side until she was being dragged back upstairs again.

"Okay so I asked around," Remi began. "And they said Nishimura just walked up to him and threw a punch at him."

"He did that?" Aira asked in disbelief.

"Apparently. But then Sato didn't seem too shocked as if he saw it coming." Remi shrugged.

Not wanting to believe she was the potential cause of this conflict, she did not know what to do.

She could care less about Sato but violence is never the key.

Not especially when it could lead to major consequences.

She didn't want Riki to be punished because of her.

She didn't want him to care that much about her.
