"You cant avoid him forever." Remi sighed as she dragged the alerted girl to her own class. "Oh look, he's not even in class."
"He's not?" Aira peeked into the classroom to see the absent seat. "Okay good."
"What's good?" Riki's voice suddenly appeared out of now where causing both of the girls to scream.
"The weather?" Aira said the first thing that came to mind.
"Hm." He stood back up before proceeding the enter the room.
"Not even 24 hours ago, he was standing right there with eyes of desire, confessing to you." Remi whispered into Aira's ears which sent chills down her spine.
"Oh my god. Stop." Aira shook her voice away before forcing herself to walk into the classroom.
Nervously taking a sit beside him, she was starting to wonder whether it was all in her head.
Riki was acting as casual as ever as he kept himself occupied with his phone.
Maybe she was the only one freaking out over this no-big-deal matter.
---
The long-awaited lunch had finally arrived, though Aira did not leave her seat.
Moments before the bell had rang, a couple of seniors had called Riki out. Female seniors.
Just how many seniors was he going to collect until he was satisfied?
Because of his intimidating yet mysterious aura where people tried to avoid him as much as possible, it was ironically the exact reason as to why people were curious about him
He really knew his ways with the ladies.
Watching the girls giggle as Riki simply reacted with his signature smile, Aira wondered what they were talking about. Sure, it was none of her business. But it was about him and she was curious.
(Aira was no different to everyone else)
Not obsessed, just curious.
Maybe Aira was just a little possessive over her friends. And strangely, this possessiveness only applies to Riki Nishimura.
As her bubbles of thoughts bursted her back to reality, she had realised she was really alone now.
The figures that were standing there, giggling, were now gone.
Well better for her; out of sight, out of mind.
All this nervousness and over complicated thoughts had really killed her appetite even more.
And so, she decided to take this opportunity to get her extra study essentials out. When in dilemma, just distract yourself with practice papers. It's a win-win situation.
Surprisingly, this tactic really took her thoughts away as she was so focused on her question that she didn't even notice that someone had entered the classroom.
'It's probably Remi.' she thought to herself.
"You're not avoiding me, are you?" His voice caught her by surprise.
How does one get both predictions wrong by the same person, twice.
There he was, facing her as he took the seat in front of her, head resting on his arms.
