The next morning, Abacus, Piper, Lottie, Larry, Noodle, and (Y/n) shuffled into the main lobby where Mrs. Scrubitt was standing behind the counter.

She looked at them smugly. "My, my. Lot o' long faces this morning. It's almost as if you lot had a sneaky little scheme to try and wiggle out of your contracts. Which spectacularly misfired."

They all looked between each other, wondering how she could've figured it out.

"But I've got some good news for you lot, though you don't deserve it. Your friend Mr. Wonka done a deal with Mr. Slugworth. Gave up on his dream to settle your accounts. Mr. Crunch." She called.

"Present." Abacus said.

She placed the wad of cash on the counter and stamped a piece of paper. "You're free to go."

Abacus looked at her in shock, but quickly grabbed the piece of paper and left.

"Bell."

"Benz."

"You ain't gotta tell me twice." Piper said.

"Chucklesworth."

"You've been a terrible audience. Good night!" Larry waved as he left.

"Yeah, well you ain't been much of a comedian mate." Mrs. Scrubitt retorted.

"I know..."

Bleacher grabbed his arm before he left. "Hey Larry, keep going. You've got something."

"You scare me." He commented as he ran out the door.

"And finally...(Y/n) and Noodle." Mrs. Scrubitt listed, placing two wads of cash on the counter with the others. "Biggest piles o' the lot. But this isn't to pay your bill, Noodle. This is to keep you here." She revealed.

Bleacher slammed the doors shut once again.

Noodle furrowed her brows. "What do you mean?"

"My friend Mr. Slugworth, doesn't think nasty little urchins like you should be out on the streets, lowering the tone. And (Y/n), I would let you leave, but I promised my dear, beloved sister that I would watch after you. And I intend to keep that promise." She told her with fake compassion. "You two will be down in the Wash House for good."

"I hate you!" Noodle exclaimed, trying to climb over the counter.

Bleacher grabbed her, and (Y/n) when she tried to get him to release Noodle.

Mrs. Scrubitt laughed. "Look at them go, Lord Bleachowitz!"

"Lord Bleachowitz? You don't still think he's a Lord, do you?" Noodle retorted.

Scrubitt's smile fell. "What?"

"We made it up, you old hag!" (Y/n) snapped.

"Why you sneaky, conniving little witch! You're just like your mother! Always stealing away my happiness." Mrs. Scrubitt spat.

"Don't talk about my mother like that, you liar!" (Y/n) argued.
