Willy and (Y/n) sat next to each other on the steps of the cathedral, with (Y/n) resting her head on Willy's shoulder and his arm wrapped around her shoulders.

They watched as Noodle and the others poured chocolate into other people's cups, sharing the joy with everyone around.

Willy sighed and pulled out his mother's chocolate bar and ran his thumb over the cover.

(Y/n) looked down at it and back up at him. "I know I didn't know her, but I think she'd be very proud of you, Willy."

He glanced at her and smiled. "I wish you had known her. She would've loved you." He commented.

Willy finally pulled it out and unwrapped it. As he was doing so, he noticed a shimmering gold price of paper inside the wrappings. He paused for a second, but kept opening it until he pulled out the gold paper.

It had writing on it. It said:

"The secret is, it's not the chocolate that matters. It's the people you share it with."

                     -Mama xxx

Willy smiled and looked up, his eyes getting misty. There, in the crowd, he saw his mother smiling at him. She was there, just like she promised she'd be. She blew him a kiss, and he chuckled, smiling widely. Someone walked in front of her, and when they passed she was gone again, but it didn't matter. She had fulfilled her promise.

Willy took (Y/n)'s hand, and they both stood up. Willy broke off a piece of the chocolate bar and gave it to her. She smiled gratefully and took it, taking a bite. Noodle, Abacus, Larry, Piper and Lottie all gather around as well, and he gave each of them a piece of chocolate, before eating a piece himself.

"So, how does it feel Willy? Isn't as good as you remember?" Noodle asked.

Willy nodded. "Every little bit. Wish it could last forever."

He then looked up at the clock in the town square and looked back at Noodle. "I guess it's time."

Noodle was the only one who looked confused. "Time for what?"

He gave her a smile. "Do you know how many people in this city are names D. Smith?"

"106." Abacus answered.

"And luckily, you have a friend who works at the telephone exchange. And she lent the entire afternoon ringing around. And guess what?"

"We found her." Lottie told Noodle.

Her eyes widened. "You found my mom?"

"She works in the library. That's where she lives." Abacus added.

(Y/n) gestured for her to come with them. "Come on Noodle."

...

The three of them made their way to the library, and were about to walk up to the building, when Noodle paused. Willy turned and he could see the hesitation and nerves in her face.

He gave her a reassuring smile.
