The man lead Willy across a stone bridge over a slightly frozen river, towards a small but tall building on the corner called 'Scrubitt and Bleacher.'

"Here we are Mr. Wonka, home sweet home."

Tiddles ran ahead and started pawing at the door.

"Get your filthy paws off my front door, you mangy mutt." Someone yelled from inside. "If that's you Bleacher, you better have my gin."

The man, who was called Bleacher walked up to the door and spoke from the outside. "Oh, I have something better than gin, Mrs. Scrubitt."

A slot opened up in the door, and a woman's face appeared, glaring at Bleacher.

"A guest." Bleacher stepped aside, revealing Willy behind him.

Mrs. Scrubitt instantly perked up. "Oh! Why didn't you say?!"

The doors were thrown open to reveal Mrs. Scrubitt, who was a short middle aged woman with red hair, wearing a blue dress and a white apron.

"Come on in sir. Welcome to Scrubitt and Bleacher's Guest House and Laundry." She greeted. "Make yourself at home, warm your cockles by the fire. Gin?"

As Willy stepped inside and went over to the fire, Mrs. Scrubitt called over her shoulder.

"Noodle, (Y/n)!"

"Yes, Mrs. Scrubitt?" Two voices answered.

Willy looked behind him and saw two girls standing in a doorway that lead to the back.

The younger one, Noodle, was a girl that looked about twelve or so. She had dark skin, and curly black hair. Her clothes looked old and slightly tattered, and she was holding a book in her hand.

The other, (Y/n), looked older, maybe around his own age, with (s/c) skin, (h/l) (h/c) hair, and (e/c) eyes. She also wore clothes that were old and worn out.

Willy glanced at (Y/n) a couple times, and she looked at him. When they made eye contact, Willy took off his hat, and held it in his hands, giving her a small smile.

"Noodle, put that book down. The both of you, get our guest a glass of gin. Poor man's frozen half to death." Mrs. Scrubitt ordered.

The two girls left, and Willy knelt down by the fire.

"Thank you Mrs. Scrubitt. You and your husband have been so kind to me." Willy thanked.

"Husband? Him?" Mrs. Scrubitt asked incredulously. Then she laughed. "Oh you'd love that, wouldn't ya?"

"No." Bleacher grumbled.

"Oh, I'm holding out for someone far superior to that idle peasant." Mrs. Scrubitt said.

Just then, Noodle and (Y/n) came out holding glasses of gin. Noodle gave one to Mrs. Scrubitt, and (Y/n) walked over to Willy and gave him the other one. He smiled at her again, as his hand brushed hers to take the glass.
