Back to the Future Marty went. Doc is alive, time travel was still working, and all is well as Marty passes out after a long week. Waking up, he doesn't notice the differneces all at once. "What a nightmare." he mumbles to himself. Then he starts to notice; firstly it was the different paint in his room and the hall, then it's the pictures and shelves everywhere. Lastly it's the living room being a complete 180 from what he was used to. He sees his brother and sister at the table, wearing clothes he never see them in before. "What the hell is this?" he questions.

The two look at him confused. "Breakfast." Lynda replies with a 'duh' tone.

"What did you sleep in your clothes again last night?" Dave asks his younger brother, seeing the same plaid shirt as before.

He blinks, "Yeah, yeah... What are you wearin' Dave?" Marty questions with even more confusion.

"Marty, I always wear a suit to the office. You alright?" Dave checks him over, not seeing anything out of the norm.

"Yeah..." Marty says a bit dazed.

The back door opens and in comes George and Kathryn McFly... Only, not the way Marty remembers them. George McFly was no longer a nerdy spineless man, no, he looks confident. No longer button up with a pocket protector and glasses. He was wearing a casual outfit, sunglasses, and... was that a rolex? Marty blinks in surprise before looking over at his mom. Her smile was bright as she enters seeing her children. Her hair was long like it was in '55, there wasn't a lick of fear in her eyes, she looks like a million bucks. "Good morning!" she greets them, giving the two at the table a quick head kiss before going to Marty, who is still stunned. She kisses his cheek.

Marty in shock,  takes a seat on a stool that was behind him. "Mom, Dad." he says in relief. Kathryn hears him and places her hand on his forehead.

"Are you feeling alright Marty?" she asks him, checking him over, not seeing a bump on the head or bruises anywhere.

"Did you hurt your head?" Dave asks as he goes into the kitchen.

Marty just shakes his head. "No, uh... You guys look great. Mom you look so... happy and worry free." he admits, no real way around that.

She laughs at his words. "Well with kids like you, what do I have to worry about?" she says before cupping his face, "But thank you Marty. That's sweet of you to say."

George pulls her back to him to kiss her cheek, "He gets his sweet nature from you." he compliments making her giggle.

"No, I think he gets it from you." she replies and he smiles before giving her a kiss.

"Gross." Lynda comments with an eye roll.

Marty cracks a smile, some things never change. Then he remembers, "Where's Aunt Lorraine?"

Kathryn tilts her head, "She's in LA with Betty for the week remember? She asked if you wanted her to get you anything? I bet you can phone her if you forgot."

He shakes his head, "Right... Right."

"Oh, Marty, I almost forgot, Jennifer Parker called." Lynda says to her younger brother as she does her nails.

"Oh Jennifer. She's so lovely. We have to have her over for dinner again soon. Wait, isn't tonight the big date?" Kathryn asks as she leans back on George who has his arms on her waist.

Marty blinks in surprise, "What? What Ma?"

"The big date? I helped you two plan it, you're going to the lake tonight. Which by the way." she pauses, reaching into her purse and pulls out a thing of keys and tosses it to Marty who catches them. "I was able to get a lake house for the weekend. Pulled some strings. So now you have a tent or actual structure as options." she teases, as she thought the house was cuter than a tent but Marty argued otherwise.

Marty looks at the keys amazed, "I- Thank you." he says stunned that this was happening. "Well, ma, we talked about this, we're not gonna go to the lake, the car's wrecked."

His words made both his parents stand straight in shock, "Wrecked?" George says in concern.

"What? When?" Kathryn questions.

"Wrecked? When did this happen?" Dave asks quickly coming out of the kitchen at the news.

George goes past his wife and kids, heading to the front door. "Quiet down, I'm sure the car is fine."

"Why am I always the last one to know about these things?" Dave complains.

"Hush now, we all just learned this." Kathryn tells her eldest, as she follows George and Marty to the door.

George opens the door then sighs with a chuckle, "See, there's Biff out there waxing it right now. Now, Biff, I wanna make sure that we get two coats of wax this time, not just one." he says to the man out front.

"Don't scare us like that Marty." Kathryn scolds, "I was worried you got hurt."

"Sorry Ma." Marty replies, feeling a bit guilty for unintentionally lying.

George reenters the home with another chuckle, throwing his arm over Kathryn's shoulder. "That Biff, what a character. Always trying to get away with something. Been on top of Biff ever since high school. Although, if it wasn't for him we never would have fallen in love." he says.

Kathryn lightly hits his chest, "Speak for yourself. I fell for you at the mall before the dance." she says with a dreamy smile.

"You're right. As always." George jokes.

"Mr. McFly, Mr. McFly, this just arrived, oh hi Marty. I think it's your new book." Biff says as he enters the home, holding a box. He places it on the table.

Kathryn opens the box and a wide smile goes on her face. "Our book!" she says in excitement.

"Our?" Marty questions.

She rolls her eyes, "Okay your fathers book. But I'm the editor so I get some credit." She tells him, her smile is not leaving her face.

Marty smiles at the news, a change from before. "Congrats you two. That's really cool." he tells them genuinely.

Kathryn and George share a smile, Marty's never said their work was cool before. "Like I always told you, if you put your mind to it, you could accomplish anything." George tells his son.

"Oh, oh Marty, here's your keys. You're all waxed up, ready for tonight." Biff says handing the teen car keys. Marty stared for a moment before darting out the door.

"He must have had some weird dream." Kathryn jokes as she watches him disappear from view.

"He's a boy. He'll always have weird dreams." George jokes back as he stares at his book.
