To Marty McFly, his family was boring.

Don't get him wrong, he loved his family, but they weren't much for... adventure to put simply. He wouldn't call them losers, but his dad's boss Biff, certainly would. His dad didn't have a back bone to stand up to his boss, and his mom was to sweet to stand up to her sister. Marty tolerated his Aunt Lorraine, but she certainly was overbearing. She controlled his mom and the whole family a bit to much to Marty's liking. But he bit his tounge because of his mom.

He was closes with his mom, Kathryn McFly. She was quiet, but she encouraged him the most out of the rest of the family. She wasn't all that different from the rest of his family, working or staying home. But she was kind and listened to him.

Not to say his father, George McFly, wasn't... He just was in his own world a lot of the time, being a large push over and a people pleaser. He just found it easier to connect with his mother.

Which brought him to now, upset that Biff took their car and wrecked it before his big date. "I know your upset." his mom says softly as he storms into his room.

"Upset? Ma, I'm more then upset! You know I had the date this weekend." Marty complains, "It's ruined everything."

Kathryn looks over her shoulder making sure her sister wasn't around and walks in, closing the door. "Marty, I-I'll help you reschedule." she offers.

He rubs his face in frustration, "What about next time this happens? Biff ruins something else?... Or-or Aunt Lorraine grounds me from having a girlfriend again? What about then? It's never ending Ma."

She sits down next to him on the bed and places her hand on his back, "I'm sorry... This is just how our lives work. Your Aunt just wants the best for us... and-and Biff... is difficult." she sighs, "But he's your fathers boss, there isn't much we can do."

Marty sighs aswell, "I know. Sometimes I just wish things were different so we don't have these things to worry about."

"Well, we can't go back in time and change things... Let's just focus on now." Katheryn tells her son softly as he leans into her.
