Notes: It took me a while but here is chapter 10. I hope you guys would like it despite the limited plot of this chapter.

"Should I wait until Monday to talk to her? Or should I message her to meet up?" Ashlyn asked as she paced out of Gina's bedroom. "Well, what do you want to do?" Gina queried as she helped Nini fold the blankets.

"I just want to see her and hopefully tell her how I feel," Ashlyn confessed. "But I can't just tell her I like her right? Shouldn't I have a romantic gesture?" Ashlyn questioned.

"You don't have to. You could just tell her right away. Not everyone can pull a gesture," Kourtney advises while teasingly smirking at Nini. "I can hear you, Kourt," Nini remarked.

"I'm just saying. The important thing is you are able to say what you feel. The romantic gestures are just extras," Kourtney emphasized. "I'm with Kourt. It's all about being honest with her and telling how you feel about her," Gina explained.

"But...," Ashlyn groaned, dramatically falling to Gina's bed. "I kind of want to at least do something for her. After what happened two days ago, I want to assure her that my feelings for her are true. She deserves that much," Ashlyn insisted.

"Then what do you want to do?" Gina questioned. "That's what I'm trying to work out," Ashlyn muttered. "What about singing a song? I mean you write songs," Nini suggested.

"I do but isn't that kind of something Ricky or Seb would do?" Ashlyn muttered, uncertainly. "It does but it could also be your thing," Gina tried to argue.

"What about a bunch of roses with music playing in the background?" Kourtney proposed. "Now that's something Big Red would do," Ashlyn remarked, rolling her eyes.

"Okay, contradicting our suggestions doesn't help," Kourtney attests. "Sorry, I just really want it to be special," Ashlyn insisted.

"Fine. How about this... Think about something that the two of you shared together, like a moment between the two of you that just makes sense. Start with that and I'm sure you'll figure out the special way to tell her how you feel," Gina pointed out.

"Something the two of us shared together?" Ashlyn questioned. "Something the two of you bonded, like how you both wrote a song together. I'm sure there are other things you've done or talked about," Gina emphasized.

Ashlyn stared at Gina's ceiling trying to remember everything she and Maddox had done together. She reminisced every word that was exchanged.

"Nothing comes to my mind!" Ashlyn yelled, frustration immediately taking over her. "Why is this so hard?" Ashlyn asked. Gina, Nini, and Kourtney exchanged concerned looks before sighing.

"It doesn't have to be hard, Ash. I promise you. You can show up with no grand gestures and things will be alright," Nini assured her. "She's right, Ash. Don't overthink this. Just tell her how you feel," Gina added. "Just tell her what you told us yesterday and things will be fine," Kourtney finished.

Ashlyn glanced at her friends as she slowly nodded in response. "Y-yeah. I'll just do that," she answered, her eyes landing outside Gina's window as she got up from the bed. "That's it!" Ashlyn thought to herself.

"Hey, what time is it?" Ashlyn abruptly asked. Her friends furrowed their eyebrows and answered, "Half past 11. Why?" "Nothing! I got to go," Ashlyn blurted out, rushing as she put her stuff back in her bag.
