It's been a week since everyone in the drama department finds out that Jet and Maddox are siblings. Since then, Jet had been keeping his head down but still had been attending their rehearsals, he thought about Ricky's advice and kept on showing his sister that he was trying. Maddox on the other hand had been closer to Ashlyn after the incident but chose to stay at the auditorium most of her time.

"I told you, Ash. I don't know what I'm supposed to say," Maddox shouted. "It's that the whole reason why you've been drinking coffee all week?" Ashlyn questioned, looking up at Maddox who was fixing the light at the tech booth.

"Not really. Every time I try to say something I just end up buying drinks for the two of us," Maddox admitted. "So, you give him a coffee instead of just talking to him," Ashlyn clarifies, raising her eyebrow.

"No! I give him caramel macchiato instead of talking to him. It's his favorite," Maddox tried to argue. "Right," Ashlyn mumbled, rolling her eyes. "Okay. I could hear the judgment. What?" Maddox asked. "Don't you think you're overthinking this, Maddie?" Ashlyn said, the nickname slipping in.

The nickname caught Maddox's attention; it was the first time Ashlyn called her Maddie. The latter often called her Gadget, and she doesn't understand why being called Maddie by her newfound friend makes her heart skip a bit but of course, she wouldn't admit that.

"I know I should just talk to him but I'm not even sure what I should say to make things right," Maddox replied, slowly walking down the stairs. "Why don't you start by saying 'hey' and see where it goes from there," Ashlyn suggested.

Maddox was about to answer Ashlyn when she noticed Nini approaching them. "Hey, Maddox. I need to talk to you," Nini muttered. "Sure, what's up?" Maddox replied, her eyes landing on Nini. "I should probably go," Ashlyn jumps in.

"Oh, you don't need to. This won't take a while," Nini mumbled, nervously playing with her hair. "So, remember what we talked about a week ago," Nini continued. Maddox furrowed her eyebrow for a second before it finally sunk into her what Nini was talking about.

"You mean that thing about Gina?" Maddox asked, her voice above a whisper. Nini's eyes widened, her head scanning the room for any signs that someone else had heard her. "Come on, Nini. Everyone can see you have something going on with Gina," Maddox added.

"At least they didn't say it out loud," Nini argued, playfully. "Whatever. Why do you need to talk to me?" Maddox asked, chuckling. "I was wondering if you have any advice on confessing with you know a girl," Nini questioned, embarrassed.

Maddox tried to stiffen her laughter but miserably failed. "You're asking me for romantic advice?" Maddox asked. "Well, you're the only one I know who has-" Nini paused, glancing cautiously at Ashlyn. "Who has experience with a girl?" Maddox finished while Nini nodded.

"I don't think it's any different when you are confessing with a boy. You just need to find the right timing and say what you feel about her," Maddox explained. "You say that like it's that easy," Nini replied. "It's not. But I mean the only way your feelings can get through to her is if you lay it out and talk to her," Maddox clarifies.
