Summary: Gina is throwing a Halloween party and everyone is invited. Despite the reconciliation of Maddox and Jet something was still different between their relationship and maybe they needed one more push.
Notes: There would be Gini development, a hint of RJ and Jetney, and a little bit of Madlyn in this chapter. This is half filler and half real plot.
Let's all assume that Maddox was the one who wrote 'Speak Out' on this AU.

"Come on, Maddie. It's going to be fun," Jet insisted as he showed his sister their matching Shang-chi outfits. "I never said it wasn't, but aren't the outfits too much?" Maddox argued, scanning the costumes.
"You love Xu Xialing," Jet said, matter-of-factly. "Can't we just go without costumes?" Maddox questioned. "Absolutely not. Gina warned us. Everyone should be in their costumes since it's a Halloween party," Jet explained.
Maddox stared at her brother before rolling her eyes and saying, "Fine. Happy, bro bear?" "Finally! Now suit up," Jet muttered, excitedly. "You say that like we're superheroes," Maddox commented before she took the costume to Jet.
It's been a week since Maddox and Jet had settled their issue. When they got back to school the next day some people asked them if things between them were better and they didn't lie when they said, "Slowly we will get there."
Each day they tried to build a new foundation for their relationship. They slowly can feel the other opening up which is a good thing but they know that they haven't let their guard down with each other like old times. Too much had happened that they knew it would take time.

Today, Gina is holding a Halloween party at her house with all the drama club members. With their opening night just around the corner, Gina suggested they should have one relaxing day before they get busy this month.
"Hi, Gi!" Ashlyn greeted as she walked upstairs with Kourtney. "Ash, Kourt! You guys are finally here," Gina muttered, she scanned her friends' costumes but furrowed her eyebrow.
"Why are you in a sweatshirt, Kourt?" Gina asked. "I haven't chosen what school I was going to. So, I brought all 8 Ivy school sweatshirts, and I will be trying them on until I find what school feels like home," Kourtney explained, nervously.
"You'll find the right school for you, Kourt," Ashlyn comforted, placing a hand on Kourtney's shoulder. "I hope so. Is Nini here?" Kourtney questioned. "Actually, she's still not here," Gina replied, glancing at her room.
"Judging by your outfit as Harley Quinn. I'll assume Nini is going full Poison Ivy?" Ashlyn queried a smirk forming at the corner of her mouth. "Yes, she is," Gina remarked, hiding the blush forming on her cheeks.
"Happy Halloween!" Maddox greeted them when she and Jet went upstairs. "What's up!" Jet added. Ashlyn's eyes met Maddox's eyes and smiled. "Wow, you look great," Ashlyn commented, staring at Maddox's outfit.
"Thanks. I can say the same thing, Belle," Maddox muttered, looking away from Ashlyn who was wearing a full-on Belle costume. Gina narrowed her eyes at Maddox and Ashlyn but decided not to press any questions.
A second later, Nini was going up with Ricky and Big Red. "What's up with Halloween and superheroes?" Maddox remarked seeing Ricky wearing a Batman costume and Big Red as Robin.
"Say the girl who is wearing a Shang-chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings costume," Ricky teased. "I didn't actually have a choice," Maddox replied, looking at Jet. "Just admit you love it, Maddie," Jet muttered, playfully earning an eye roll from his sister.
