Dinner was rather awkward. Kaori made you and Sukuna sit next to each other. Directly across from her and her husband.
Kagura and Yuji were seated a few chairs down snickering to each other. Choso, who you just meet and found out was the oldest of the Itadori brothers was watching them with a confused expression.
Kaori gushed about how beautiful you'll look in a wedding dress and pinched in a few ideas for the venue. Of course she said that you two had all the liberty to decide on your wedding as you please.
Problem was that you didn't want to plan anything. It was all too much and all too sudden for you.
"What are you two giggling about?!" Kaori slapped her hands on the table growing irritated with the constant giggles she keeps hearing.
"Nothing, auntie! Just catching up like old times!" Kagura assured and of course Yuji couldn't contain his laughter. You felt your face grow warm. Not once but twice you've been caught with Sukuna! Twice!
Kaori eyes narrowed slightly while Jin chuckled softly. After getting to know him, he was rather a sweet and polite man. You wondered what went wrong with Sukuna. His parents were the kindest people around!
After dinner, his parents insisted that you both stay a little longer. So you were currently in the living room watching Yuji and Choso play a round of Mario Kart.
Kagura sat on a couch by herself, typing furiously into her phone. You of course were seated with Sukuna awaiting your turn. You had teamed up with Yuji to defeat his older brothers.
Sukuna eyed his cousin for a moment. "He isn't going to take you back."
Kagura raised a brow. "I'm sorry but are you trying to provoke me? Do I need to kick your ass again?"
"Both of you. That's enough." Choso ordered and immediately both of them stopped bickering at each other.
"Aw man! Every time!" Yuji threw his hands up, pouting at the fact he got second place. He never beat Choso at anything they do. He had hoped he could at least win once but no. He loses. Every single time.
Immediately he switched with you, taking your place on the couch while you sat on the floor in front of him. Your joystick was pink while Sukuna's was red. Typical.
You chose Princess Peach while he chose Bowser. Now that you thought about it they both looked the same. Same scowl and everything.
"Choose rainbow road!" Yuji suggested.
"Are you kidding?! That's the hardest one!" You gave him an incredulous look.
Sukuna scoffed and muttered incoherently. In there you heard the word pussy and that didn't sit right with you. You scrolled through each track before landing on Rainbow Road.
You were in the lead for the first lap until Sukuna hit you with a red shell and knocked you out of bounds. You clicked your tongue, pressing your fingers hard on the buttons. You ended up in 6th place while he was in first.
