I finish my food while everyone was still talking. I look up and see Favin what passionitly for me to give him a signal to go. I nod and turn to Huawar, "Huawar I was wondering if I could be excused, I have to use the bathroom." I say politely
"Of cousre, it's down the hall and to the left." He says and points.
"Thank you," I say as I stand up and walk down the hall. I look around and admire the walls and paintings. I stop and stare at this one painting. I saw it before when I was at a party with Blair. It's a painting of the ocean with ruffled waves crashing against the land. There is a storm in the distance coming in fast. It makes me feel like I am in a mess with nowhere to go. The first time I hated the painting because it felt like where I was in real life living with Dad, but as I looked closer I could see a light space right after the storm. It was like a light at the end of the rainbow.
"Boo!!!" I hear behind me.
I quickly jab my elbow into the person's gut, turn around, and punch him in the gaw. I look at my attacker and shriek. It was Favin, "Oh I am so sorry." I didn't hear him come up behind me.
"Well if I wasn't convinced you should join the kights before you sure have convinced me now," He chuckles and stands up, wiping his face and checking for blood.
"I am so so sorry. I didn't know who you were and I just realized. I am so sorry."
"It's ok, It's ok. It definitely hurt but I will be ok. Anyway, what were you doing?" He questioned moving beside me.
"Oh, I was just admiring this panting."
"Ah, you know I have never seen this painting before in my entire life."
"How in the world could that be, this painting has probably been on this exact wall for your entire life, if not longer."
"That is a big possibility. I well I was at Carngin for most of my life so I wouldn't have seen it either way."
'He went to Carngin and still couldn't doge my attack.' I smirk to myself.
"Anyway, shall we begin our tour malady?" Favin bows and lifts a hand.
"I thought your father said no titles here, you princeling" I raise a questioning brow.
"You're right Elsie," He takes my hand and wraps my arm around his, "But how else am I going to ask you."
I smirk in response, "Then lead the way Princeling."

He gave me a tour talking about the basics of the paintings and the structure of the building. 'I thought this was going to be fun, but all he talks about is how much money his family has.' I say to myself rolling my eyes as we walk out of the palace and into the gardens. I hear Favin start talking about how this garden was his idea to make the palace more beautiful and I almost snap. 'Really you think this palace is not beautiful enough? And no way in hell below was it your idea.' I am just about to turn to him and yell when I hear a cough from behind. I turn and see one of the butlers who brought us food for dinner.
"Your Highness, the king wants to talk to you about something important." The butler bows, and just when he stands I see something flash in his eyes. I quickly pat my pocket and realize Mad isn't in there.
"Can't it wait," Favin says and waves a gesturing hand towards me, "I'm in the middle of something."
"I wish it could sir but the king said it was urgent."
"Fine," He turns to me, "Till we meet again." and bows. Then turns away and walks into the palace.
I sigh with relief. "Thank you so much. Mr. Butler." I smirk.
"Well, I didn't really do it for you i just didn't want the prince to have a few broken bones." Mad luaghed.
"Yes well if didn't do that he would have died."
"I could see that, in fact, you gave me a few bruises because you kept grabbing the pocking and squishing it."
"I am so sorry, I didn't even realize I was doing that."
"It's fine, just be glad I was here."
"I am very glad, now let's get out of here before he gets back."
"Good idea," Mad says as we start to walk out of the garden and back to the tent.
As we walk we talk about how Favin was being all cocky and mimicking him, we arrive at the fighting ground when Mad asks, "So, do you think you're going to do it?"
"Do what?" I ask slightly confused.
"Fighting to be in the knights."
"Oh, Um," I stutter, "I haven't really thought about it, I mean why would I do it?"
" I don't know, maybe to get busy in the day so you're not just sitting around sitting around waiting for the days to go by."
"I don't wait around for my brothers," I say trying not to get mad.
"What are you talking about? I have watched you since you and your brothers moved to the camp. You just sit and watch them train. You don't do anything, you just sit there."
"I do not, and if I were to become a warrior then what when would we be able to hang?"
"We would hang out at night and while you're training."
"What do you mean, people will see you? And now offense but you don't look normal."
"One ouch, Two I am a shapeshifter I can change into anyone. Even humans." Mad says as we enter the tent.
"I guess, I just don't know. I'll sleep on it and tell you tomorrow." I say as I go over to my cot. I signal Mad to turn around so I can undress. I shimmy out of my dress and say, "You're good." I lay down and hear Mad shift and hop on my bed.
I think about the offer the king made. 'Should I do it, it would be fun. I mean I would be busy for once in my life. I should do it, I'm going to do it.' I think to myself and I slowly drift off with a smile on my face.
