My alarm woke me up today at 9'o clock this morning. The morning of excitement. That's right today you could pretty much say, I'M ON A (friendly) DATE WITH FRANCIS. Actually, I'm pretty scared if I do say so myself. Even I don't know what's happening right now.
I eagerly eat breakfast while keeping my phone close to me waiting for a message from Francis. Yesterday, before I got out Francis's car, we exchanged numbers so we can keep in touch for any reason and as a sign of our friendship. AND! He is the sixth contact on my phone the others being Mom, Dad, my cousin (who has probably changed their number), Greg and, myself(incase I forgot my number). A pretty grand contact list I must say.
DING DING
My hand immediately grabs the phone after the second notification sound. I checked who it was from. Francis.
Good morning. I'm driving up to your house right now. Don't change clothes yet. I have a surprise. Be there in 10. - Francis
I texted back.
Good morning and okay! - DanaCuriosity was what filled my mind up the most at the moment. I wonder what he meant by don't change clothing and what the surprise was. During the time I was thinking, my door bell rang.
I opened to a very beautiful Francis. It was like a gift from heaven. Francis smiled and pushed a bag towards my chest.
"Change. Right now. I'll give you 2 minutes." His expression changed into an evil but sexy smirk.
My body instinctively ran upstairs with the bag and I changed into a slightly oversized gray hoodie that had the Nike brand at the front and smelt like Francis. I slid on the black tights that were on my bed. I came back down stairs, put my old black converses on, locked the door and headed out to meet Francis.
"Oh. Good work. Did you enjoy the gift?" Francis smiled.
"Your Nike hoodie? Yes. Thank you." I blush slightly.
"Don't worry about it. I've only worn that one twice and I've got a bigger size since that one doesn't fit. That's a small but I'm a medium. So I thought I'd give it to a new owner. Don't worry. It's pretty much in new condition", Francis explains " Anyway, enough about the hoodie. Get in."
I got into Francis's car and we drove off.
The car ride was silent with the radio filling in the silence. I could smell the goodness of Francis Alvarez during the ride. In fact, he is very handsome when he drives.
We arrived at the destination. The City mall. Francis parked the car and we got off.
"Today, we are going to fix you up and solve the mystery of what you actually look like", Francis says as we walk into the mall.
"Whoa" I say with my mouth open. It was the first time I was at the City mall and with a guy too. It was full of people. I was so amazed. I thought the town fair I used to go with Greg was the most people I've seen but this is on another level.
"Dana, this is your first time isn't it?" Francis says.
I nodded.
"Great. I'm your first", Francis smirks.
I blushed. He didn't have to word it like that.
Francis grabs me by the hand "We are going to solve the mystery of your face first."
He drags me into a spacious beauty salon and talks to one of the staff. They seem to know each other well and she was very pretty.
The lady smiled at me and guided me to the hair cleaning station. She put coverings and a towel around my shoulders and chest. I laid down on the seat and tilted my head back into the basin. I noticed Francis smiling then walking off into a nearby seat, picking up a magazine to read.
