I was spacing out during lunch, thinking about my life. The progress I've made in a month. I've changed my appearance, got a boyfriend(?) And.... and...
I started to think hard but nothing came to mind. I can't possibly say that I don't have feelings for Greg anymore. My mind started to wander off and I remembered what happened yesterday with Greg.
"Dana, what's wrong?" I snapped back to reality and looked at Francis.
"You're making really weird facial expressions. One point you were angry and then your were blushing." Francis says.
"I was just thinking about life." I blushed, looking away.
"So, how was it yesterday? With you-know-who."
"It was normal, I guess."
"Even being in the same room together?" Francis had a look in his eye.
"Yeah.." I reply uncomfortably.
"And even falling asleep with just a guy in your room?" He inched closer.
"Y-yeah." I moved back and looked away from his piercing gaze.
"Okay then." He moved back and pretended like nothing happened. Whew. He scared me for a moment. "Oh yeah. You never answered my question."
"What question?" I tensed up.
"Whose body do you think is better? Mine or Jeremias's?" He casually asks.
Jeremias choked on his drink and gave his brother a What-the-heck face, slightly blushing. That was... really adorable, him blushing that is. Vanessa made a really disgusted face at him and hugged me close.
I was speechless. I didn't reply and just ignored him.
I heard Vanessa calling him a pervert and Francis defending himself. I giggled at their little fight again. Slowly, step by step, I can see my new life forming.
At the end of the day, Francis, drove me home and during the car ride. I had a weird feeling that something bad was going to happen to me. I looked up my star sign just in case because in all my years in life, I was always accurate whenever I got a bad feeling.
Scorpio: Today will not be the best day for scorpios. You will encounter family problems however, a good change will come out of it. Be prepared.
I gulped. Half scared. It must not be true. My family will never have problems. We are always happy. I didn't believe that stuff anyways.
DING DING
I looked to see a text from mom.
Don't go out today. Your dad and I need to talk to you. - Mom.
We were at my house but I didn't want to get out.
"I think something bad might happen when my parents return home." I say, looking down.
"What makes you say that?" He replies.
I showed him all the evidence and explained to him about all the times I had a bad feeling.
"Oh, you're being superstitious. Nothing will happen. Just go home." Francis smiles as he lightly pushes my head with his finger.
Standing in front my door, refusing to go in, I stood there staring at the ground, twiddling my fingers.
Francis gave me a small reassuring hug "Just go in. Everything is going to be okay. Besides it said something good would come out of it, right?"
"Yeah. Your right." I gave him a reassuring smile and went into my house.
