°•°Eddie's POV°•°

The house on Neibolt completely disappeared, after we were able to get out of there, at least nobody ended up dying, the Loser's took Vanessa and I to the hospital, and apparently went to the quarry to celebrate, but it's been six days since that day, and Vanessa still hasn't woken up.

The doctors said, it was because of blood lost and exhaustion, that's why she hasn't awoken yet, apparently she just needs a lot of rest. The good thing was we were placed in the same room, so I was able to look after her.

When she lost consciousness that day, I almost thought that I might have lost her, the one person that has always been by my side without any complaints, I wouldn't survive without her.

I watched her lay in that bed, looking so peaceful and as beautiful as ever, I placed my hand on her cheek, cherishing it, her skin felt so soft against my hands.

I was so focused on her, I didn't notice Richie walking into the hospital room, until he spoke up, "Dude, she's not gonna disappear." My head snap in his direction surprised.

"I know that." I state, walking back towards my bed, sitting down on it.

"You stared at her, like some creepy stalker." Richie points out, taking a seat on the chair, next to my bed.

"Well, smartass, she's my wife, I can look at her as much as I want too, and however I please." I tell him, giving him a glare.

"I guess that's true." Richie says, he started looking around the hospital room. "So, I'm curious about something, why don't you have any kids?" He asks, looking at me curiously, making my eyes almost pop out of their sockets, just when I was about to answer, someone else spoke up.

"Because I don't want to share him with anyone else." Hearing her voice after so many days was a relief, i got of my bed quickly walking over to hers, looking into her eyes i knew everything would be okay.

"What happened?" Vanessa asks, sitting up right, looking at her surroundings.

"You passed out from blood loss and exhaustion, couldn't you just take better care of yourself, I almost lost you." I told her with a very serious tone, which only had her glaring up at me.

"And if I didn't do, what I did, you wouldn't be here right now, you'd be dead, so no, I'm not gonna apologize for my actions this time Eddie, a world without you, isn't one i would like to see anytime soon." She snapped at me, clearly annoyed at me, so I completely dropped that subject, and wrapped my arms around her.

Vanessa arms slowly went around my waist, and I was finally able to calm my nerves in my wife's embrace, even forgetting that Richie was in the room with us.

"Well, aren't you the cutest." Richie spoke up, Vanessa let go of me looking towards the other man sitting on my bed. "What are you still doing in Derry?" She asks.

"I don't even know, thought I'd stay until you two get out of the hospital." Richie says, shrugging his shoulders, he was a true friend to stick by our sides like this. Vanessa was staring into space when Richie and I started our usual bickering, just like we did when we were kids.

"Nessa, you okay?" I ask her gently, her head turned towards me with a smile on her face. "Eds, let's go on a trip for a few weeks, we could bring Richie and Mike too, just to take a break from everything for awhile." She says, she was onto something, a break to get us to enjoy the little things in our lives.

"I don't see why not. Richie, you in?" I ask as both of us looked towards him.

"Hell yeah. When are we going?" Richie asks excited.

"The day after we get discharged from the hospital." Vanessa says, Richie was out the door without even saying anything, probably on his way to inform Mike, Vanessa moved up a little her eyes telling me to get in next to her, and I did, we layed down as she layed her head on my arm, with her eyes closed, humming softly.

"I love you Mrs Kaspbrak."

"And I love you Mr Kaspbrak."
