-Are you sure about this, Anushka?
Aryan is looking at me with a confused yet curious expression as he questions my plan for the day.
It has been three days since I've read his letter. He showed up the very next day. The moment I saw him, I ran to give him a hug. It was partially because of his confession but mostly because I had missed him so much. He hugged me back and since then we never talked about his father. Conveniently enough, he never thought about him either. I have not yet told him about my feelings, even though I know he's into me. I can't figure out the reason but there's definitely something that is stopping me. Three days have gone by and today we're thinking of a hang out plan when I suddenly come up with one. And as expected, he's not sure if it's a good idea.
"I'm sure!" I say with excitement.
-What if your parents want to kill me or something?
"What?!" I say with an amused smile.
-Let's do this some other time.
"No." I protest, "My father wants to meet you."
He looks at me doubtfully.
-And why is that?
I give him a blank look. Well, I myself don't know the answer to that.
"Aryan. We're going. That's it." I say firmly.
He rolls his eyes.
-Okay, fine. But at least tell me if I look good enough. Should I wear a shirt instead?
I want to laugh my head off.
"What?! No. You look good. Oh my god! You're actually nervous. Don't worry. They won't eat you."
He looks ahead as we walk together.
-Well, I hope not!
