The Merge

Chuck spent a month at Manny's house, working and fucking. It was supposed to be one week but they had to wait on lawyers and the factory had a week of shut down for maintenance so Charles let his dad know that he was there for the month.

Charles couldn't say the words yet. He couldn't tell his dad that he was with Manny. They just met and there was an age gap, none of that mattered to Charles but he guessed that his dad would have an issue with this. The month flew by and Chuck didn't want to leave.

"I was falling for Manny pretty hard." Chuck stated and Manny glared at him as he mixed fresh drinks.

Jett glared at Chuck also. "Third person... What does that mean to you, Chuck!"

Chuck flipped him off. "Shut up!"

Simon chuckled at them and held his glass for a refill.

"Anyway..." Chuck continued.

They were enjoying each other's company. Chuck even let Manny have a turn being on top. Chuck didn't hate it to Manny's delight. Manny still preferred to be on the bottom. He loved being dominated.

Charles' phone rang as they were finishing up dinner. The merger was set for the following month and all of the details were worked out. It was time for Charles to head back home. He didn't want to.

He sighed as he saw who was calling. "My father."

Manny froze. "What did you decide?"

Charles sighed heavily. "I'm risking everything, Manny!" He was staying with Manny. "You know that I'm yours."

Manny smiled bigger. "Oh, Chuck!" He wiped tears as Chuck answered the phone.

"Hi, Dad." Charles stood and began to pace. Manny listened to the conversation because Charles put the phone on speaker. He wanted Manny to be involved.

"Have you got your travel plans finalized? When are you arriving at the house?" His dad was expecting him to come back home and in a normal world, Charles would have.

"Uh, Dad... things are complicated." Charles sighed. "I want to stay here."

His dad went off in typical Angus style. Angus Carter got his way. He was a good and fair person and he loved his son but he worried and needed to be sure Charles was ready for his future.

"What does that mean? You want to stay there? Where exactly? Where would you live? I said you were to stay there until the merger was set. It's done. Come home." Angus glared at the phone.

"Uh, Dad... I'm staying with... uh... Manny." Charles cleared his throat. There were tons of things he expected as a response from his dad. Anger, of course, maybe laughter and disbelief. Definitely some kind of lecture about this being too fast and they needed to be separate to think about what they were doing.... Something like that... But his father was always surprising him.

"Will he be good to you, Charles?" Angus sighed. "Put him on the phone."

Charles was shaking from anxiety. He handed the phone to Manny. "Manny, here." He had never done anything like this. He was eighteen and never even had sleepovers and now he was moving into this man's house? Charles didn't even have a question about this being the right thing to do. He knew he belonged with Manny and that Manny was his future.

Jett leaned into Simon and sighed. "Awe! Chuck, that is so sweet!"

Manny was melted and smiled. "He's mine!" He placed a kiss on his cheek and freshened his drink. "Go on..." He winked at Chuck.
