Just a letter?

7 1 0

A letter that destroys,
A letter that breaks
And we know a heart once broken,
Never gets back to place.

A letter that burns
And is like flames
Devours happiness,
Of the self.

A letter like a devil
That'd trade souls,
It trades for the illusion of win,
The truth of the defeat of the battle of one's own.

A letter which tells
Not only that you are greatest,
But that others are worthless
That they don't deserve your grace

A letter which sits you on  a pedestal
And never lets you look down
For if you did you'd
See that the pedestal is made of
The people you called your own

A letter as such is I,
I, the ego, that makes you to fight for win
But after defeating all people
To celebrate your win with.
