Chapter 4

After 2 days (Baithak Day)
Mihir's fever was now gone. But due to weakness, he had not gone to college even today. Others except Advait had gone to their respective jobs and college. Revati, who had taken a off, had gone in market for shopping. Mihir was in his room, getting ready. Advait too had taken a off today for Mihir. He was sitting on couch, reading the newspaper. Mihir came down after getting ready. Advait saw him and went in kitchen to prepare Mihir's chocolate milk. Mihir sat on couch and started watching TV. Advait came with chocolate milk and gave it to Mihir who drank it. Mihir saw that only Advait is there and no one else. So he decided to ask.

Mihir: Dada, Reva bhabhi kaha gayi hai?

Advait: Ansh, Reva market me gayi hai. Aaj Rama uske family ke saath aane wali hai. Shaadi ki baat karne. So aaj shaam ke liye shopping karne gayi hai.

Mihir (squealed in happiness): Wow!!! Mere Bhaiyya ki Shaadi!!! Yay!!! Jaldi hi hai!!!

Mihir sang those lines and hugged Advait tightly.

Mihir: Hurray!!! Ab Rama Di jaldhi meri bhabhi hongi. Ab mai unhe officially bhabhi keh payunga. Ab meri 2 2 bhabhiya!

Advait chuckled at his excitement and hugged him back. Even he got happy seeing that Mihir started talking with him.

Advait: Khush?

Mihir: Dher sara khush.

He said tightening the hug. Advait ruffled his hairs lovingly. Mihir broke the hug and looked at Advait in horror.

Mihir: Dada, Bhabhi aaj shaam ko aarahi hai aur maine ab tak kya pehnu ye decide bhi nahi kiya. Bhaiyya ka bhi dress mujhe hi choose karna hai. Oh God! Kaise manage karunga mai sab!? No! Aapko kab pata chala ki bhabhi unke family ke saath aaj aarahi hai?

Advait: Shant Mihir! Parso subah Rama ka phone aaya tha. Tum so rahe the tab pata chala.

Mihir (widened eyes): WHAT!? Phir mujhe kyu nahi bataya!? Not fair! Ab mai sab kaise karunga? Oh no no no! Kitne kaam hai mujhe! Aapko pehle batana chahiye tha. Not fair Dada!

Mihir was blabbering in panic. Advait was looking at him in shock, as this was the first time he was seeing Mihir's this avatar. He held Mihir by his shoulders, calming him who made a pout.

Mihir: Aapne aur baki sab ne kyu nahi bataya?

Advait (raised his eyebrow): Kaise batata? Tu baat kar raha tha mujhse? Aur Abhi and Papa to gussa the tujhse. And tu rarely jaga rehta tha so didn't got a chance.

Mihir smiled sheepishly. But then guilt took over him for avoiding his brother for 2 days. His face fell. Advait saw it.

Advait: Kya hua Ansh? Aise chehra kyu utar gaya achanak? You feeling well na? Kahi firse bukhar to nahi aaya?

He quickly placed his hand on Mihir's forehead but temperature was normal. Without giving Mihir a chance to speak, he continued.

Advait: Bukhar to nahi hai phir? Is it paining anywhere? Head me pain hai? Weakness hai? Tum chalo apne room me aur rest karo. Kya jarurat thi neeche aane ki jab theek nahi lag raha tha? Chalo ab room me aur rest...

Mihir hugged Advait tightly, cutting him off.

Mihir: Dada, mujhe kuch nahi hua. And I'm sorry. Maine aapse bohot rudely baat ki. Aapko ignore kiya. I'm really sorry!

Advait: It's ok baccha. And I'm not angry just was upset. Accha, tumhe bhuk lagi hogi na? Chalo mai kuch bana leta hu. Kya banau? Tum kya khaoge?

Mihir broke the hug and started thinking.

Mihir: Maggie! Bohot dino me nahi khayi hai. Vahi banado.

Advait: Jo hukum sarkar!

Both chuckled and Advait went to make Maggie while Mihir continued watching TV. They enjoyed the Maggie while watching a movie and then Mihir dragged Advait in his room after finishing it.
