AN UNKNOWN ADVENTURE

CHAPTER 13: Meeting Aliksha

It was 6am in the morning everyone was sleeping in their room, except Ahaan who couldn't sleep due to his concern for Alishka, all the incidences were flashing in his mind, making him feel somewhat melancholy. He was disturbed by knocking in the door.

Ahaan: {with a jerk} Come in.

Adhiraj: {shaking his hand} hello! Morning.

Ahaan: Adi early morning?

Adhiraj: {jokingly} yes Himan sahib's snores always takes away my sleep

Ahaan: {smiling} You can sleep here if you want to?

Adhiraj: Nope not in the mood, BTW am I right, you didn't sleep last night?

Ahaan: Yeah, couldn't sleep at all!

Adhiraj: {scratching his head} Can I ask something by the way?

Ahaan: {squinting his eyebrows} hmmm?

Adhiraj: Don't get me wrong but, why do you care for her so much? She's just your best friend, isn't she?

Ahaan: {smiling} Well, you tell me, if something ever happens to Himanshu, aren't you worried about him? I'm worried about her That way!

Adhiraj: If I talk about me and Himan, then yes, I care about him, but your case is a little different.

Ahaan: {nodding} I know see the thing is......yes...its true I have feeling for her...but still......our friendship matters most to me.........

Adhiraj: Just because you think, she sees you as a Friend.

Ahaan: Kinda

Over here Alishka was sleeping peacefully in a Room filled with positive energy and rays of morning light, she was roused from her deep sleep by the resonating chimes of the morning prayer bells from the nearby temple. Startled, she snapped awake, her mind and eyes quickly adjusting as she tried to make sense of the sudden awakening. As her eyes acclimated to the surroundings, she was taken aback by the unfamiliarity of her new environment. A sense of fear crept in as she frantically searched for someone familiar. A lady entered the room with a tray of breakfast, noticing her awake. With a warm smile, she helped her rise from the bed and kindly asked about her well-being.

Lady: {warm smile} How are you feeling my dear?

Alishka: {holding her head} A little weak, btw who brought me here? Where am I? What happened to me? Where are my friends?

Lady: Calm down! You'll get answers to all your questions soon, and don't worry, your friends will come to meet you, have your meal first.

Without further argument, Aliksha ate all the breakfast as she was feeling really hungry and weak, after that the lady went away. She got up from the bed and went towards a mirror kept near the bed, as her gaze fell on her body, upon inspecting her body, she realized she was clad in long frock. Shock washed over her as she discovered numerous bruises marring her skin, evidence of some past distress. Frantically scanning her body, she discovered bruises and dark spots covering her hands and shoulders. A scream of pain and trauma escaped her lips as shock and terror overwhelmed her. It felt like a dreadful nightmare she couldn't escape. As her cries echoed through the halls, a group of concerned women swiftly made their way to her room. Inside, they found her trembling on the floor, her head buried between her legs, tears streaming down her cheeks in silent anguish.

Lady: Madam, are you okay?

Alishka: {weeping} Plz call my friends I need them! Please.

Listening to this all the women left her alone; she stood in the same position weeping in trauma of what just happened. All those dark spots marrying her skin, plunged her into deep trauma.
