CHAPTER 23: THE THREE Challenges

Dravilla: First solve this

I'm made of sand, yet crystal clear.
I hold your drink or something dear.
I come in different shapes and sizes,
From fragile flutes to jars for spices.
What am I?

Alishka: {smirking} A GLASS CONTAINER.........

Dravilla: {shocked} I like you for a reason.

As she uttered those words. A light illuminated a medium-sized square container, revealing Maanvir in a vulnerable condition.

Alishka: {shocked} MAANVIR!

Dravilla: {sinister grin} you have 10 minutes to save him and one more thing the glass container will shrink ever minute so good luck.

Alishka ran towards container and started pounding in the glass, but it was of no use. Maanvir gestured her towards an end. She followed his fingers and found a code lock. She was confused to see number in it. She did the 360 of the containers looked up and down to find any clue unaware that 2 mins have already passed, and the container has shrunk twice making it extremely uncomfortable for Maanvir to sit inside. Suddenly something clicked her mind, and she held the lock in her hands and began entering specific digits. And to her surprise the code was correct it removed the glass and Maanvir was all free. Alishka helped him to get back on his feet although his body aching due to the uncomfortable posture, he was in for the past 5 minutes.

Maanvir: OH MY GOD! That's the worst case I have been through.

Alishka: Thank God that code was correct. But I don't understand!

Maanvir: Leaving everything, just tell me is Saina, ok?

Alishka: {soft smile} Yes, she's fine. In fact, you are also supposing to teleport to her but......

Maanvir: Meaning?

Alishka explained him all about the game they all are stuck in.

Maanvir: Well, maybe she has another plan.

Dravilla: {from afar} Correct Guessing. Now you two have to choose a maze to rescue your loved team members.

CHALLENGE 2: TWO MAZE

As she spoke those words a shiny light emerged opening two doorways. One door made of simple wet wood, and another made of wood with a grass coating all over it.

Alishka: {pointing} I will choose the grass one.

Maanvir: {crossing his hands} Hmm ok. Let's solve this maze.

They exchanged brief looks and approached the door. Before entering, they gave each other a thumbs-up and conveyed a message to stay safe through their eyes.

Alishka: {in mind} Plz Ahaan I want to find you this time.

Being unaware that her mind was somehow connected to Ahaan and listening to her voice after a long time Ahaan felt relieved.

Maanvir entered and saw a maze filled with water.

Maanvir: It means I need to swim again.

He jumped in the water that was a little hot. Sensing the high temperature his whole body turned red. But the temperature was dropping every minute.

Maanvir: Oh god, wait a minute the temperature's dropping I need to find the person fast.

He swam along the stream, trying his best to find any clues. Every time he stood up to look above the water, he saw the same corridor he had been swimming through.
