"Ma'am, please come up," Jace said to Beverley. The woman was still frozen in front of the stairs leading to Brent's private jet.

"Are you serious?" Beverley silently swallowed her saliva. She didn't want to look like a country girl, but this was her first time seeing a private jet in person. Of course, she was stunned!

Brent, who had gone up first, turned and looked down. He smiled mockingly. "Hurry up! You can still admire the jet from the inside."

Beverley snorted coldly. She flicked her long hair back gracefully and caught up with Brent. She didn't want him to make fun of her for looking like a country girl.

The inside of the cabin is different from an airplane cabin in general. It's not broad. There are only a few seats. Everything looks luxurious and dominated by white.

A handsome young man in a pilot's outfit stepped out of a closed door. The man smiled at Brent and Beverley. "Mr. and Mrs. Oliver, congrats on your wedding. I'm happy to finally be able to take you on your honeymoon."

Brent snorted. "Jeff, you're too late to say that now."

The pilot, named Jefferey Anderson, chuckled. The dimple on his right cheek makes him look cute. He turned to look at Beverley and smiled.

"Mrs. Oliver, I'm Jeffrey Anderson. As one of Mr. Oliver's personal pilots, I am pleased to meet you in person," Jeff said, extending his hand.

Beverley certainly didn't refuse the handsome man's handshake. She smiled back sweetly. "Beverley Oliver," she said shyly.

Brent, who saw that, immediately snorted. He finally sat down on one of the chairs and leaned back lazily. "There's no need to delay, Jeff."

"Okay." Jeff winked at Beverley before going into the control room.

Beverley stared at the man's back, which then sank behind the door. A smile appeared on her face. "This is just my ideal man," she muttered, stroking her chin.

Jefferey may not be as handsome as Brent, but he laughs and smiles easily. At just a glance, she could tell he was a warm and sweet man. To be honest, she preferred a man like that to the cold and fierce Brent.

"What are you still standing there for?!" Brent asked somberly.

Beverley pursed her lips. At that time, Jace came with a beautiful woman wearing the special uniform of a flight attendant. She smiled politely at Brent and her.

"Mr. and Mrs. Oliver, welcome. This time, I'll be serving as a flight attendant on your flight. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to tell me," said the woman politely.

Brent already knew the woman and cared little for her. He just waved his hand and then asked Beverley to sit in a chair not far beside him. The woman could only obey him, so they would not fight.

Jace sat in the chair across from them. After that, the flight attendant ensured their safety before the plane flew.

Brent and Jace were busy talking about their business matters. Beverley was tired of hearing about such and such projects, such and such tenders, and such and such stocks. So she asked the flight attendants to bring her anything she could eat.

A few moments later, some snacks were served in front of her. She immediately ate it while watching the web series she had downloaded on her phone yesterday.

The journey from Los Angeles to Hawaii takes at least five hours. It was long enough to make Beverley sleepy. After finishing her snack, she fell asleep.

Brent glanced sideways. Then Jace suddenly asked, "Does she deserve this?"

"Do I have a better choice?" Brent asked back. "The company's shares have declined. That made the commissioners unwilling to accept the rumors David was spreading, and they asked me to cut corners. Unfortunately, Natalie still doesn't want to get married right now. I was forced to marry this woman."

"Mr. Porter has really crossed the line," Jace said gloomily. "I don't understand why he would do that to his old best friend."

Brent said nothing. Only he knew the reason why David spread the rumor. That's because David is gay and has had an interest in him for a long time. The man became angry because he didn't care about him at all.

Brent probably doesn't care about a person's sexual orientation. That's none of his business. However, if David did things out of bounds because of his obsession, he would not let him.

"There was someone named Stephen Winsman at David's company. He's someone quite important there. Jace, find out about him. I want him to leave the company," Brent said expressionlessly.

Jace smiled. "Do you want to get back at David?"

Brent casually opened his laptop. "I've been very busy all this time. But now I have time to give him a special surprise." His expression became even.

Jace chuckled. "Well. I'll do it soon."

Beverley didn't know how long she had slept. By the time she woke up, Brent was immediately looking at her flatly. "I thought you wanted to sleep here until tomorrow," he said unkindly.

The plane had just landed at the international airport in Honolulu. That means she woke up on time. Why was Brent so cynical and cold? Besides, shouldn't he have woken her up? Beverley pursed her lips at the thought.

They got off the private jet and immediately went to the inn. Beverley was pounding all the way. This isn't the first time she's been to Hawaii, especially Honolulu. However, she felt very excited. She could smell the beach air that she longed for.

After half an hour of travel, they finally arrived at a very large luxury hotel. The hotel is near the Waikiki Beach area, which presents beautiful views. The wind blew stronger through her hair.

Beverley almost tripped just because she was too focused on looking around. She was excited but had too much prestige to show it to Brent. So, she could only endure it.

Jace secretly repressed a smile when he saw Beverley feigning ease. The woman was actually still a little childish. It's just that she can cover it up with her pretentious, nonchalant, and mature attitude. Maybe that's why she can't get along with Brent, who is naturally quiet and cold.

"Ma'am, you can take your time for a walk after this," Jace said.

Beverley immediately smiled. "Of course!" She glanced at Brent suddenly. "If someone permits me."

Jace chuckled. Brent snorted and immediately pulled Beverley closer. He hugged her waist tenderly, like a real couple.

"Brent, stay away from me!" Beverley wanted to step away, but the man immediately glared at her.

"There is someone who knows me," he said as he led her to the hotel lobby.

"Who?"

It was at that moment that a fat and short woman wearing a tight blazer approached them immediately. Behind her were three hotel staffers who followed suit. They smile.

"Mr. Oliver, welcome to the Ivory Hotel! I was very happy when I heard from Mr. Nickerson that you are coming to Honolulu," the woman said enthusiastically. She looked at Beverley and smiled. "Hello, Mrs. Oliver."

Beverley smiled back. "Hello, Ms...?"

"Oh, I'm Carol Sinclair, the manager of this hotel." The short-haired woman smiled sweetly. "Congratulations on your wedding. I have prepared the best settings, especially for you guys. I guarantee there will be no shortage of anything, and you will feel comfortable during your stay here! If you have a special request, just let me know. I will do my best to help you."

"...."

The woman spoke very quickly as if she were not afraid of being out of breath. Beverley was speechless. She looked at Brent, and the man just looked at Carol flatly. Jace, on the other hand, laughed.

"Ms. Carol, thank you for your good intentions," said the man.

Carol laughed sweetly. "Mr. Nickerson, it's nothing. We are not strangers, and I will not hesitate to help you guys."

"Carol, it's been a while since I've seen you. You're still as chatty as ever," Brent said sarcastically.

"Isn't that my advantage?" Carol laughed proudly. "Then I won't bother you anymore. Please follow our staff. They will escort you."

Brent just snorted. Then he went to follow the hotel staff without releasing his arms around Beverley's waist.

After they had gone far enough, Carol immediately took her cell phone and surreptitiously took a picture of Brent and Beverley. She laughed proudly. "People should know that Mr. and Mrs. Oliver are here on their honeymoon."

Then she uploaded the pictures she took to the internet. "They look so matched," she commented with a satisfied smile.

Brent grinned secretly in the elevator. Actually, this was the purpose of choosing this hotel. It's because of Carol. He wanted to take advantage of the woman character to publicize his honeymoon with Beverley. He didn't have to bother. Let her do it naturally.

The elevator doors opened on the 28th floor. That floor contains suites that are luxurious and very private. As they were crossing a corridor, Brent suddenly saw a familiar woman enter a room down another corridor. It was only a glance, but he could immediately recognize her.

He frowned, then stopped abruptly. Beverley naturally asked, "What's wrong?"
