TESSA'S LOCKWOOD POV

Having wrapped up the deal, I'm itching to head home and see Zenith, my son. I've missed him a lot. Clyde dropped by earlier to spend some time with him, and now he's working from my place, looking after Zenith. It's funny how Zenith's so attached to his dad, sometimes I wonder if he even remembers I'm the one who carried him and gave birth to him!

Leaving my office, I head straight for the elevator and then down to the underground parking lot. But I can't shake this feeling that someone's watching me or following me.

The parking lot feels kind of creepy with its dim lights and empty spaces. Each step I take, I feel more and more uneasy. I try to walk faster, but the feeling won't go away. It's like there are eyes on me, even though I can't see anyone.

Finally, I get to my car, and I breathe a sigh of relief. But the weird feeling still hangs around. I quickly get in and start the engine, eager to get out of there. As I drive home, I can't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right in that parking lot.

As I drive, I see a car following me in the rearview mirror. I try to speed up to lose them, but they stick to me no matter what. I feel nervous and quickly grab my phone from my purse to call Clyde.

"Clyde, someone's following me," I say, my voice shaking.

Clyde sounds worried, "Where are you, Tessa? Send me your location now."

My focus shifts to sending Clyde my location, I press my phone urgently, my head bending down as I concentrate on the task. In that moment of distraction, my attention drifts from the road.

Suddenly, without warning, the car that had been following me swerves ahead, blocking my path. Caught off guard, I fail to react in time. The abrupt movement causes me to lose control, and I collide with the side of their vehicle with a jolt.

The impact jars me, my heart racing as the chaos unfolds around me. Clyde's voice continues to echo through the phone, his urgent inquiries barely registering amidst the chaos, but I am too shocked to say anything.

Three masked men dressed in full black with their faces covered in a mask holding guns, get out of the other car. They yank open my door and grab me. I try to scream, one of the men, snatches my phone from my car and crushes the device underfoot. I scream at him; he snaps at me angrily and his voice cold and commanding. "Quiet, or else," he growls, his words dripping with menace as he points his gun at me.

Just as they prepare to shove me into the van, a motorcycle appears out of nowhere, its rider clad in black, a mask concealing her identity. With lightning speed, she engages the assailants, drawing their attention away from me. In awe, I watch as she effortlessly subdues them, leaving them writhing in agony on the ground. Who the hell is she?

In awe, I watch as she approaches. "Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" she inquires with concern checking on me. I'm struck by a sense of familiarity in her voice.

Struggling to find my voice, I'm unable to articulate my gratitude as she inquiries about my well-being. "Um.......... Yes, I am fine. Thank you for saving me."

She nods, her eyes, blue like the ocean, lock onto mine as she helps me stand up. She looks protective but mysterious.

Suddenly, I see a man behind her, holding a knife. I panic and shout a warning, "Behind you." with lightning reflexes, she quickly evades his attack, swiftly disarming him.

"Tell your boss to fucking face me by himself and leave my sister out of this." She states coldly to the shivering man as she holds him at knifepoint.

The man trembles and agrees, promising to tell everything to his boss. The word "sister" catches me off guard. Who is she talking about? It's all so confusing.
