Aiah's POV
"Aiah!." I heard him calling my name.
Sht
He's on his way here
"T-take me with you please." I told Mikha, almost begging.
"If you don't like him like that, you can just tell him--" Sabi ni Mikha.
"Tell me what?." Oh G, he's here.
"O-Oh Hi Pards, andyan ka pala hehe." Sabi ko.
"Yeah. I was trying to call you back the--oh, you're with a friend." He said.
"Y-yeah. Uhm--t-this is Mikha." Sabi ko.
"Of course. She's the wedding singer from yesterday. The unica ija of--" But before Jeremy could finish his sentence Mikha immediately interrupted.
"Now I finally know what we're gonna do." Mikha said while looking at me with a fake smile tsk.
"Ha?" What the heck is she talking about?
"Y-you two girls up to something?." Takang tanong ni Jeremy.
"Yeah. We were just talking about hanging out for a while para di naman sayang stay namin dito. Ya' know, girls stuff. Right babe?." Mikha said as she gently pulled me closer by the waist.
Babe?
Of course. She heard my name but wouldn't care mentioning it.
"S-sure. What do you have in mind ba b-babe?." Sabi ko.
"Surfing." Sabi ni Mikha.
"Really? What a coincidence, I love surfing too--" Sabi ni Jeremy.
"B-but you can't come with us. Remember? Girls stuff. Besides, nandito na rin lang tayo, don't you think it's great to meet new people naman?. You can go out with the boys. I saw some guys playing basketball at the court, you can join them. I mean panget naman na kayo lang lagi magkasama nito ni uh ni ni babe lalo na kung di naman kayo 'you know'." Sabi ni Mikha.
G, she's really good at this.
"A-alright. Uhm Aiah, see you tonight then. Sabay na tayo magdinner. We need to talk about something." Sabi ni Jeremy.
Ayan na naman siya tsk
"She'll try. Anyway, we have to go. See you around." Sabi ni Mikha as she held my hand.
At nang makalayo-layo na kami binitawan nya na ang kamay ko.
Inhale exhale
"I don't know what your deal is but you gotta have the courage asap to finally reject him. Di tong iniiwasan mo sya at dinadamay mo pako." Seryosong sabi nito sakin.
"I-I don't know. Naguguluhan ako. I don't want anything between us to change. I-I just can't--"
"Well, you have to make a choice." Sabi niya.
"He's my only friend. We've known each other since we were kids. And I don't think I can hurt him like this. The thought that you can't just be friends with someone you fell in love with scares me to death. I'm going to lose him either way." I sincerely told her.
"You can't runaway from truth forever. My business is done here." Sabi niya.
But then,
"How about surfing?." Sabi ko.
