Janan’s eyes widened in surprise, a chuckle escaping her as she facepalmed. “Wallahi, this man is something else,” she mumbled, shaking her head.
Bella, curious about her reaction, asked, “What happened, Janan?”
With a sigh, Janan showed her Ramin's text. Bella’s face lit up. “Awee, Janan, he is so cute!”
Janan chuckled, feeling warmth spread in her chest. Zahra chimed in, “I’m telling you, Janan, don’t make this man suffer any more.”
They all laughed, and as Janan closed her eyes for a moment, she thought, Such a cutie.
Once they arrived at Zahra's house, Janan took charge of cooking for everyone. Zahra and Bella perched on the counter, enjoying the aroma wafting from the kitchen. Zahra munched on a carrot, her voice muffled as she said, “I’m wondering what those three are up to.”
Janan scrunched her nose in thought. “Do you really want to know? Let me tell you—they’re probably playing football.”
Bella snapped her fingers, a lightbulb going off in her head. “Let me ask Jake.” After a quick phone call, Bella looked at Zahra, shaking her head. “Janan was right.”
Janan smirked. “I know him too well.”
Zahra and Bella exchanged glances before sidling up to Janan, wrapping their arms around her from both sides. In a teasing tone, they chimed, “Janan knows everything about Ramin; she’s crazy in love with him!”
Janan lightly hit them, her face flushing. “It’s not like that!”
She pouted, and Bella leaned closer. “Then how come you’re his princess?”
Flustered, Janan hid her face in her hands. “Yahh, stop! Don’t tease me!”
Meanwhile, Ramin, Jake, and Hadi were playing football. After a particularly intense moment, Hadi collapsed onto the ground. “Ahh, I’m tired; I can’t play anymore,” he groaned.
Ramin joined him on the grass, mirroring his exhaustion. “Me too, bro.”
Jake chuckled, clapping his hands together. “Alright, let’s go home, then.” They all nodded and got to their feet, heading back to Ramin’s mansion.
After taking a refreshing bath, Ramin emerged in a bathrobe and plopped down on the couch. “Hey guys, I have a plan!” he announced.
Both Jake and Hadi perked up, curiosity etched on their faces. “What is it?” they asked in unison.
Ramin chuckled as he revealed his idea, excitement bubbling in his voice.
Meanwhile, Janan, Zahra, and Bella settled on the lawn, sipping hot coffee. Janan took a sip, her brow furrowing. “I feel like something is missing.”
Zahra and Bella stifled their laughter, and Janan glanced at them. “What?”
Bella teased, “Just say it—you're missing Ramin!”
Janan looked at Bella in disbelief. “I’m done with both of you!” They erupted into laughter, but then, out of nowhere, a small stone landed nearby, startling them.
“What was that?” Janan exclaimed, confusion sweeping over them.
Zahra’s eyes widened, and she screamed, “Jin!! YA ALLAH, there are jinn!”
Janan and Zahra turned to follow her gaze, and in a panic, Janan fell to the ground, shutting her eyes tightly as she began reciting Ayat al-Kursi.
Bella, seeing their distress, moved closer and pulled off a white blanket, grinning. “Look, Janan! I know these jinn—here are Jin, Jake, Ramin, and Hadi!”
