As Zahra and Hadi stood on their balcony, the first light of dawn brushed across the horizon, filling the sky with shades of pink and gold. Watching the sunrise, Zahra sighed contentedly. "Hadi, everything feels so perfect with you," she whispered, her voice filled with warmth. "It feels as if Allah has blessed me with all the happiness in the world."Hadi smiled softly, leaning down to rest his chin on her shoulder, his arms wrapping around her from behind. "Oh my beloved Zahra," he murmured, his breath gentle against her ear, "you are truly my peace. As Allah says in the Quran, 'The believers, men and women, are helpers, supporters, friends, and protectors of one another. They enjoin all that is good, forbid what is evil, perform their prayers, give Zakah, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will bestow His mercy on them. Indeed, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.'"
Zahra smiled, her heart swelling with love as she leaned back into his embrace, resting against his chest. For a moment, they stood in serene silence, just absorbing the peacefulness of the morning together. Then Hadi's voice broke through the quiet again, soft and filled with affection. "Let's visit Angel today," he said, his voice a little wistful. "I'm missing Muhammad so much."
Zahra's lips curved into a gentle smile as she nodded. But just as they were about to move, a small figure ran towards them. It was Duha, their daughter, her face streaked with tears, sobbing uncontrollably. Worry immediately crossed Zahra and Hadi's faces, and they both knelt down before her.
"Duha, my princess, what's wrong?" they asked in unison, their voices filled with concern.
Duha pouted, her little face scrunched up as she held out her broken doll. "My doll...it's broken," she whimpered, tears welling up in her big, round eyes.
Zahra let out a breath of relief, her heart calming as she kissed her daughter's forehead. "Oh sweetheart, you scared us for a moment."
Feeling guilty, Duha tugged at her ears in a gesture of apology. "Sorry, Amma. Sorry, Baba."
Hadi and Zahra exchanged amused smiles and kissed her cheeks, their voices soothing. "It's alright, princess," Hadi reassured her, gently ruffling her hair. "Baba will buy you a new doll. Now come on, show me that beautiful smile."
Duha's tears quickly faded, replaced by a bright, radiant smile, her happiness spreading warmth in their hearts. She was five now, along with her twin brother, Tahir, and they had already begun learning about Islam, something Zahra took immense pride in. Zahra patted her cheeks gently, her voice soft and loving. "My precious Duha, your mother regrets not finding Allah earlier in her life, but InshaAllah, you won't have that regret, my love."
Duha's eyes sparkled with curiosity and innocence. "Amma," she asked, her voice small but filled with hope, "I love Allah... Will He love me too?"
Zahra chuckled softly, her heart overflowing with affection for her daughter. "Oh, my sweet child, He loves you seventy times more than I ever could. You are so beloved to Him."
Duha's face lit up with joy. She clapped her hands excitedly. "Amma! I want to see Allah! I want to hug Him!"
Zahra's heart melted at the sweetness of her daughter's words. "InshaAllah, my love, we will see Him in Jannah," she said tenderly, her voice full of promise. "But to get there, we must love and worship Allah more than anything else. He is the Most Merciful, and He will surely grant us Jannah if we strive to please Him."
Duha's face glowed with excitement. "I want to go to Jannah! I want to see my Allah!" she declared, throwing her arms around Zahra in a tight hug.
Zahra smiled brightly, hugging her daughter back, feeling a deep sense of peace and gratitude. After a few moments, they walked to the living room, where they found Tahir was reciting the Quran. The little boy was already learning many Surahs, and as soon as he saw Duha, he closed his eyes, "Allah," he whispered, peeking one eye open, "just a little break, I want to play with my sister."
