I tried am not sure if Floyd is in character to be honest. Nobody requested this I just had this in my drafts.
The vibrant world of the Trolls was always alive with music and laughter, and today was no exception. The sun shone brightly over the colorful landscape, casting a warm glow on every leaf and flower. In the midst of this cheerful scene, you bounced along, your boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm making you a beloved figure among the Trolls. Other trolls often describe you as – always upbeat, always ready with a joke, and always determined to see everyone smile.
"Good morning, everyone!" you called out, your voice bubbling with excitement. You waved to every Troll you saw, your smile never fading.
Poppy, the ever-optimistic queen, spotted you and waved back. "Hey, (Y/N)! What's got you so cheerful today?"
You giggled, hopping up and down. "Oh, Poppy! It's just such a beautiful day! And I had this amazing dream last night about a party where everyone was singing and dancing, and I thought, why not make it real?"
Branch, who was nearby, raised an eyebrow. "Another party, (Y/N)? Didn't we just have one last week?"
You bounded over to him, your eyes sparkling. "Oh, Branch, you can never have too many parties! Plus, I thought it could be a special one. Like, a 'Welcome Summer' party!"
Branch sighed, but there was a small smile tugging at his lips. "Well, I guess it couldn't hurt."
"That's the spirit!" you cheered, twirling around. "I'll get started on the decorations! This is going to be the best party ever!"
You spent the day zipping around the Troll village, gathering supplies and enlisting the help of your friends. With your boundless energy and charm, no one could resist joining in. The entire village buzzed with excitement, everyone eager to see what you had planned.
As you hung up streamers and balloons, you hummed a cheerful tune, your heart full of joy. This was what you loved most – bringing happiness to others and creating memories that would last forever.
Floyd, a Pop Troll with a laid-back vibe and a knack for smooth tunes, approached you with a grin. "Hey, (Y/N), need any help with the music?"
You turned to him, your eyes lighting up. "Floyd! That would be amazing! I was hoping you could play some of your awesome tunes. They always get everyone dancing!"
He chuckled, giving you a thumbs up. "You got it. I'll make sure this party is one for the books."
As the sun began to set, the village transformed into a dazzling display of lights and colors. Trolls gathered, the air filled with laughter and the sweet sound of anticipation. You stood in the center, admiring the work everyone had done. This was going to be perfect.
The party started with a bang. Music filled the air, and Trolls danced with abandon, their faces lit up with pure joy. You twirled and laughed, your energy seemingly endless. Everywhere you looked, you saw smiles and heard the melody of happy voices.
Floyd's music was a hit, and you couldn't help but be drawn to him. His tunes had a way of making everything feel magical. As you danced near him, he shot you a warm smile. "Having fun, (Y/N)?"
You nodded vigorously. "This is amazing, Floyd! You're amazing!"
He laughed, his eyes twinkling. "I think you might be the amazing one here, (Y/N). This whole party was your idea."
Blushing slightly, you shrugged. "Well, it's all of us together that make it special."
As the night went on, you found yourself by the punch bowl, taking a moment to catch your breath. The party was a huge success, and you couldn't be happier. Just then, Floyd approached, a thoughtful look on his face.
"(Y/N), can I talk to you for a second?" he asked, his tone softer than usual.
You nodded, curious. "Sure, Floyd. What's up?"
He took a deep breath, looking around at the party you had created. "I just wanted to say... you're incredible. The way you bring everyone together, make everyone smile... it's something special. And I think you're special."
The troll musician exhaled heavily and met her gaze head-on. "You're really something else, you know that?"
He didn't give her a chance to respond before pushing forward, one hand rubbing the back of his neck self-consciously.
"I mean, the way you bring everyone together, how you make complete strangers feel like friends in about two seconds flat...it's incredible, (Y/N). You've got this light about you that just draws people in before they even know what hit them."
(Y/N) felt her cheeks warm, an uncharacteristically shy smile tugging at her lips. She opened her mouth, but no words came out.
Floyd chuckled, a tender look entering his eyes. "What I'm trying to say is...thank you. For being you. The world needs more trolls like you in it."
For once, (Y/N) was rendered speechless, feeling oddly off-balance yet inexplicably pleased by the unexpected sincerity behind Floyd's words.
Before she could recover, the pink troll closed the distance between them, gently taking her hands in his larger ones. (Y/N)'s eyes widened, her heart picking up its pace.
"So...whaddya say we do this again sometime?" Floyd murmured, holding her gaze intently. "Just you and me?"
A brilliant smile slowly bloomed across (Y/N)'s features, brightness and joy radiating from her once more. Perhaps, she mused silently, some parties were best experienced in more...intimate company. Squeezing Floyd's hands back firmly, (Y/N) nodded. As the music played on and the stars twinkled above, you and Floyd shared a quiet moment, your hearts in perfect harmony. The party continued around you, but for a moment, it felt like it was just the two of you, lost in a melody only you could hear.
The party eventually wound down, and Trolls began to head home, their hearts full and their spirits lifted. You stood with Floyd, watching the last of your friends leave, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction.
"This was the best party yet," you said softly, leaning against him.
He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. "And it was all thanks to you, (Y/N)."
As the night drew to a close, you realized that this was just the beginning of something wonderful. With Floyd by your side, every day felt like a celebration, and you couldn't wait to see what the future held.
