This art is not mine I haven't mastered the art of drawing techo trolls yet so I put this drawing up instead. This was requested by Miakate106 Sorry it's so short I didn't have many ideas.
The night was calm and serene as you walked along the sandy beach, the gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore under the twinkling stars and full moon. The air was cool and salty, a perfect setting for a peaceful stroll.
As you rounded a bend in the coastline, your attention was drawn to a faint movement near a large fishnet tangled in the sand.
To your surprise, tangled in the net was a small creature unlike anything you had ever seen before. His bioluminescent fins shimmered softly under the moonlight, casting a gentle glow around him. His dark blue skin seemed to blend with the night, and his gill-like ears twitched nervously as he struggled against the entangled netting. He looked injured, his neon colors dimmed with pain and fear.
"Hey, it's okay," you said softly, kneeling down beside him. "I'm not going to hurt you."
The creature froze, his pale green eyes wide with fear and confusion. "You... you won't?" he asked cautiously, eyeing you with uncertainty.
You shook your head gently. "No, I promise. Let me get you out of there."
With careful movements, you began to untangle the net from around the creature's fins. He watched you intently, still wary but gradually relaxing as he realized your intentions were genuine.
"Thank you," he murmured softly once he was freed from the net, his pixel-like fins shimmering with relief.
"You're welcome," you replied with a smile, brushing the sand off your hands. "What... what are you?" you couldn't help but ask, curiosity getting the better of you.
The creature hesitated before answering, his voice soft and hesitant. "I am... a Techno Troll," he said slowly. "From Techno Reef."
"Techno Troll?" you repeated, trying to wrap your mind around the concept. "From Techno Reef?"
He nodded, his neon colors glowing softly in the moonlight. "Yes. It's where I live... underwater."
You nodded slowly, beginning to understand. "I see. I'm Y/N," you introduced yourself, extending a finger because you couldn't shake hands as you were much bigger than him.
He hesitated for a moment before tentatively reaching out with his smaller, cold hand to touch your finger. "Trollex," he said quietly.
"It's nice to meet you, Trollex," you replied warmly.
He looked at you curiously, his neon hair flickering with different colors. "Y/N... what are you?"
You chuckled softly. "I'm human. I live near the beach. Can you tell me more about your home? I love learning about the sea."
Trollex blinked, surprised by your question. "Sure. Techno Trolls live deep in the sea," he explained slowly. "Our home is Techno Reef; it's surrounded by LED lights and bright colors."
"LED lights underwater?" you exclaimed, fascinated by his description. "That sounds amazing!"
Trollex nodded shyly. "It is. But... I have never seen a human or heard of a human before."
"Well, now you have," you said with a grin. "And I'm here to help."
Over the next few days, you visited Trollex regularly on the beach, bringing him food and checking on his injuries. He was still wary at first, but as you tended to him with care and kindness, he began to trust you.
One day, while you were checking his injuries at the beach, you asked him for more information about his home.
Trollex said, with a hint of pride in his voice, "We Techno Trolls live in harmony with the ocean, surrounded by crochet structures and optical fibers that light up the depths."
"Crochet structures?" you echoed, intrigued by the blend of technology and craftsmanship.
"Yes," Trollex confirmed, warming to the conversation. "They're woven from sea sponges and corals, creating intricate patterns that shimmer with light."
As Trollex spoke, you listened intently, captivated by his descriptions of Techno Reef and the life of a Techno Troll. You learned about their celebrations, their music, and Trollex's role as a DJ who created beats for their parties.
"You're a DJ?" you exclaimed, impressed by his talent. "That must be amazing."
He smiled shyly, his neon colors shimmering with a mix of colors. "I... I enjoy it. It's a way for me to express myself and bring joy to others."
As you talked, you found yourself laughing at his jokes and sharing stories of your own life on land. Trollex's initial fear of you had long been replaced by trust and friendship, and you were both grateful for the chance encounter that had brought you together.
Weeks turned into months as your friendship with Trollex grew stronger.
As Trollex recovered, your friendship blossomed. You spent hours talking and laughing together on the beach, sharing stories and discovering each other's worlds. Trollex even introduced you to his friends from Techno Reef, who were curious and fascinated by the human who had befriended their king.
One day, as you sat together on the sandy beach, watching the sunset over the ocean, Trollex turned to you with a playful glint in his pale green eyes.
"You know," he began, his neon green hair shimmering in the fading light, "when I first saw you on that beach, I thought you were going to... eat me."
You burst out laughing, unable to contain your amusement at the thought. "Eat you? Trollex, I would never!"
He chuckled softly, his neon colors glowing in the twilight. "I know that now," he admitted, his voice tinged with fondness. "Thank you for rescuing me that night."
"Thank you for trusting me," you replied sincerely, reaching out to touch his smaller, cold hand with your finger, as it had become a tradition between you two.
As you sat together, watching the waves roll gently onto the shore, you knew that your friendship with Trollex was something special—a bond that had formed under the moonlit sky and blossomed in the depths of Techno Reef.
