Chapter 1: Happiness!

Ambar woke up with a yawn. She immediately reached for her phone and grinned to herself when she saw Simon's name. He had texted her. "Good morning, beautiful." Standing up, Ambar went to a table in the corner where a vase of white roses stood, and she quietly tended to them. Her heart swelled as she thought about her boyfriend. Her phone went off again, and to no surprise, it was Simon, asking her to meet him outside. 

Ambar quickly changed into a purple top and jean shorts and went outside, feeling the cool breeze against her skin. Simon smiled at and she returned it as she kissed his cheek. He made her feel things nobody ever had before. Made her feel seen and heard and loved and important. She never thought anyone could love her, and she certainly never thought she could ever love someone so much. Especially since Simon isn't her normal type of boyfriend. He's goofy and smiley and kind and good hearted. He's everything she never knew he wanted. 

"Why rush me out here so early?" Ambar asked. 

"I wanted to see you." Simon replied. 

Ambar blushed. 

"I also have news." 

"So, you didn't want to just see me?" Ambar smirked. 

"Of course, I did." Simon grabbed her hands in his. "This gave me an excuse." 

"So, you needed an excuse to see your girlfriend." Ambar loved teasing him. 

Simon laughed. "Of course not. I just need to see you." He leaned down and kissed her lips softly. "So, what's this news?" 

"You know Roller Band's song on Matteo's album?" Simon asked. 

"Duh. I've been listening to it on repeat." Ambar replied. "It's my favorite of the album, and no, I am not biased." 

Simon laughed. 

"It's only been out a week and I swear I've listened to it a couple dozen times." 

"Are you saying you're a fan?" 

"Your number one fan." 

"I'm honored." 

"Continue." 

"Well, we just got a confirmation, and the Roller Band will be making our own album!" 

Ambar gasped. "That's amazing, Simon!" 

Simon grabbed her and spun her around as they both laughed. Ambar kissed him passionately when they heard footsteps to see Luna and Matteo had joined them. Ambar turned to, her face shining. Simon put his arms around her waist as she leaned her head back against his chest. 

"What's the excitement about?" Luna asked. 

"The Roller Band is working on our own album." Simon replied. 

The two grinned and quickly congratulated him. Simon hugged him both and thanked Matteo for letting them be on his album. 

"Well, we have to celebrate." Matteo told them. 

"We'll be back for dinner." Ambar told them. "I'm taking Simon out for lunch." She took his hand and lead him away. 

"Have fun you two!" Luna called after them.

Ambar took Simon to a fancy restaurant. He immediately pulled her chair out as she sat down and then he sat across from her. He reached across the table and took her hand, kissing the back of it. She grinned as she started looking at the menu. 

"You don't have to pay for dinner at such an expensive place." Simon told her. 

"It's no problem, Simon." Ambar told him. "And you're worth it." 

Simon smiled. "You're cute." 

"I know I am." 

Simon laughed. 

"You're cute too." 

Simon blushed.

The couple were eating their lunch as they chatted and laughed. They were making plans for the future. Simon's music career. Ambar being manager of the roller. Their mutual skating career. Their relationship. What plans they want. They both want to travel at some point before they ever truly settle down. Simon wants Ambar to meet his family and Ambar wants Simon to officially meet her mom. They discussed about where they would one day live and about living together. In their hearts, they knew they would be together forever.
