nialler: want to go to the lake?
savs: it's octover
nialler: what, do lakes disappear in the month of october?
savs: I think it might be a little cold
nialler: I'd rather be cold with you than warm anywhere else
save: that was really cringe
nialler: be flirty they said
nialler: girls will like it they said
save: you know what
nialler: sure let's go to the lake
savs: okay good... I'm waiting outside

I jumped off my bed and ran down the stairs. This can't be real. He can't be here. Are you kidding me!

"What's wrong?" My mother asked as I bolted towards the garage door.

"Nothing!" I shouted back running outside.

Niall was standing in my driveway and my eyes started to water. There was a smile plastered across my face as tears fell down my cheeks.

"Those are happy tears, right?" He asked.

"Shut up!" I yelled jumping onto him.

"Hey, that's not very nice," he replied squeezing me tight.

"I don't have to be nice to you," I mumbled into him.

"What? Why not?" He asked.

"Because you know I have a crush on you," I giggled. He smiled down at me tucking my hair behind my ears.

"And I'm the corny one?" He asked, "this is ridiculous!"

"Your Liam is showing," I told him as I blushed and pushed him with a giggle. He rolled his eyes pushing me back.

"Be flirty, they said! Guys will like it, they said!" I mocked. He chuckled before pulling me into him again.

"So, you coming?" He asked me as he leaned against his car.

I paused for a moment. He was so stupid. It was a two hour drive to camp, there was no way we were actually going anywhere near that place.

I have classes tomorrow and I'm sure he has work. It's stupidly cold out and if we're honest I don't think I want to even know what camp looks like in November. It's probably all sad and decrepit.

"I'd come with you anywhere," is what ended up coming out of my mouth.

"Even to the cove?" He joked.

"Oh, especially to the cove, Nialler," I replied squeezing his hand.
