11. Engaged !

Finally it was the Gala night.

The golden team as we called ourselves were able to pull off all the matters within the time frame without no mishaps.

The Gala was one of the major event of this year as our company called all the VIP's to showcase all  poshness that we could offer.

In short a it was a snobby event where rich met rich.

I didn't know what to wear as I had no right dress for the occassion and I couldn't spend my fortune on a dress which I am going to wear only once. I thought about renting or thrifting but there was no time for that as I was thinking about the dress in the last minute.

That's when lilliath came up with a fancy looking bag in her.

" Ly , a delivery for you", she came to my room taking all the mess I have created with widened eyes.

" what is it ", I took the bag and noticed the champagne coloured gown in it , " who gave you this ? " , she questioned me.

" I don't know" she shrugged.

"What if it was a stalker ? ", I became worried.

" First of all , who would stalk you and second of all the person who gave you this seemed rich",  Lilli answered.

"Whatever, so should I wear this ? ", I asked her.

"Go for it girl " , she gave me a thumbs up and left the room.

After that I took a bath scrubbing and shaving.

When I finally wore the gown it felt like it was made for me. It was an off shoulder champagne coloured dress with a slit that showed my legs in a divine way.. The upper part was a corset type and the lower part was so flowy like the river.

It felt like this gown was made for a queen

Well you are a queen .duh.

I matched the gown with the stilletos Jagger had gifted me for my birthday. For the makeup I had done a very simple one with highlighting my nose, cheeks and mixed my golden eyeshadow with some glitter . I also used that to highlight my collar bone.

And completed the look with a red lipstick.

Now let's bring on the Gala.

The Gala was going on full swing.

The hall was decorated according to my vision. It was something straight out of the fantasy books.

Right now me , Jagger,Aelin and May were standing in the corner with a Champagne glass in our hands.

Everyone looked beautiful, dressed according to the theme.

That's when Caden decided to join us. He was dressed in a three piece suit.

"Wow you guys clean up well" Caden said .

" You too Caden. How is your evening ? ", Aelin asked.

" It's as beautiful as you Aelin", he said as she just rolled her eyes.

Well you have got to admit he has got the rizz.

May just snorted.

When I was looking across the hall I saw a familiar figure. Like everyday he stood out from the crowd wearing a black three piece suit with his usual hairstyle.

He looked so perfect for a fake boyfriend.

Was his entire wardrobe only made up of black.
