A Short Story ❤️✨
She HATES commitment but fell in LOVE with a committed person. He HATES drama but fell in LOVE with a drama queen.
Karthik, a Physics professor and Priya, a Chemistry professor travel to their respective hometown for some personal...
Magestic greyish mountains surrounded by lush greenery added beauty to the landscape. From the tallest peaks, leaked the eye-catching Abbey falls; the scenic backdrop added a touch of photographic detail. Amidst the exquisite nature, my wife looked the prettiest and I couldn't help but gawk at her.
It had been two days since we reached the heaven of Karnataka, Coorg. And I swear it's like we're here for devotional tour. Not honeymoon. These two days were spent in exploring all temples in and around the region of Coorg; my dearest wife had completely turned into a devotee, visiting these temples. Finally, unable to witness the devotional side of her, I offered to spend some time in Abbey falls.
But instead of romancing her handsome husband, she chose to click solo selfies amid the lovely nature. And I chose to atleast have a glimpse of her. Her hair had grown longer and she gained some weight in the two months of our marriage. Her personality never changed, even after marriage; she looked beautiful, as always. But right now, she appeared more sexy than beautiful; her churidar and her hair was slightly wet due to the drizzle we faced while journeying here.
I just wanted to go embrace her in my arms...
"Karthi!"
I quirked my brows as she signalled me to join her for a photo. Sighing at her unromantic doings, I ambled near her. Aftermath, we left to the cottage since it was already closing time. All the while, I tried initiating a moment of romance but Priya being Priya, stayed immune to my advances. Honestly, I was frustrated but couldn't shove my disappointment on her. Afterall, her happiness meant everything to me.
...
After a scrumptious meal, I and Priya resolved to spend time in the cottage; the explorations since morning were more than enough for the day. Since the climate was romantic and pleasant, I asked her to play some songs, hoping she would understand that we're here for honeymoon, not some college tour. But my dearest wife had other plans...
Ulagamae speed-ah odi poguthu En vandi puncture aayi nikkuthu Mokka piece-um kooda kindal pannuthu Saami enna bangam pannuthu...
(A Tamil song from Mayakkam enna movie. It's a vibe song for hopeless singles. Especially depression guys...)
All my hopes shattered and frustration took the best of me, hearing the song she chose.
"Switch it off!" I yelled.
Priya looked startled as she glimpsed at me. "Why? It's such a vibe... I used to listen to it during my college days."
"You aren't in college anymore, Priya."
"Oh, I'm! But as a professor," she said.
"Will you stop your nonsense? We're here for honeymoon. Do you even remember that?" I asked, trying to contain my anger.
"Karthi, please calm down," she whispered.
Her soothing voice immediately extinguished my temper and within a moment, I felt guilty for my words. I shouldn't have shouted for such a silly reason.
"Priya, I'm s-"
She cut me off, smashing her lips on mine. Without parting, she shifted to my lap and but my lower lip. I groaned and wrapped my arms around her waist, kissing her back. Our kiss turned fierce as we parted, breathless. I looked into her eyes for a moment and kissed her forehead, cheeks and jaw. She moaned as her hands weaved into my hair. Placing gentle kisses on her nape, I unwound her shawl and threw it on the chair beside mine.
"Karthi," she whispered, "I love you."
I retreated and latched my lips on hers, not before confessing my love back. Her hands worked on my shirt and in no time I sat shirtless; she pushed me and leaned over, sprinkling heated kisses on my neck and chest. I moaned, feeling her lips on me after almost two weeks. Those hectic schedules had disrupted our moments which was the main reason we booked tickets to Coorg.
"Priya," I moaned.
"Yes, my husband," she muttered, continuing her administrations on my body.
"You're killing me," I said, my eyes closed.
She paused and stood up, leaving me confused and needy. "Then kill me...with pleasure."
I blushed at her open confession and stood up; picking her up in my arms, I placed her on the bed. Hovering over her, I kissed her collar bone. She slithered in pleasure whilst I removed her churidar; her black bra enhanced her wheatish complexion. My eyes took in her beauty, making her blush.
"Still blushing, huh? Even after two months?" I asked, my lips curved up into a smirk.
She pushed me aside, our places exchanged; tracing my face, her finger landed on my lips. My eyelids fluttered and so did my heart.
"Still nervous, huh? Even after two months of me touching you... I hope you remember, I've pleasured you wi-"
"Shut up!" I blushed. "I agree. You're bold and savage. But shy, sometimes. Whatever your shade might be, I love you so much."
She chuckled, rolling aside and lied down. "You'll never fail to give me butterflies with your cringe-worthy confessions."
"Cringe or not, I know you love this side of me..." I laughed.
"You!" I hovered over her, smashing my lips over hers.

On the occasion of 5K reads celebration, I wanted to gift my readers something. This surprise update is an outcome of your authoress's happiness and gratitude. (I'm still learning to write romance scenes... I apologise if it's not upto the mark.) Thank you so much for your love on my first book. I hope you'll love my upcoming books too.
