(timeskip: 9 months later)
it's been 2 months since Melody's world tour ended, and she's been getting more free time than before. Right now we're in the nearby park, and im sitting on a bench, staring at the sky with longing eyes.
"hey," Melody suddenly says out of nowhere, " have you ever wondered what you would be doing right now, if you hadnt met me?"
i never really thought about it.
"no, not really, but i guess i would be working for another idol." i answer uncertainly.
"yeah, bet you regret choosing to work for a pathological liar..."
"WHAT? No! why would you ever think that? If anything, im glad im working for you! I love you, okay? keep that in mind, dammit!" I exclaim loudly, scaring away a bird.
"Woah, okay chill, jeez..."
I don't understand why she would say that suddenly, but it helped me. It helped me realise how underconfident she is, and how low she thinks of herself, and i need to help her with that.
