"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING? I fucking gave you a hefty amount and you telling me you came back empty-handed." a voice of an old man angrier than ever shouted.

"Sorry sir. We were waiting for the chance but he was always beside that boy."

"Of course, he going to be, you dumbass! If it weren't for him, I would have got rid of that boy long ago."

"What do you want us to do now?"

"Go back and follow them everywhere. Wait for my call, I'll find a way to separate them."

Zee's POV

"Khun Zee, the court's hearing is only 2 days away."

"I know, Foei. Only 2 days and everything will be normal from then on.", I hope Nhu stays safe beside me till then.

"But Khun Zee, I think you should tell Khun Chawarin about everything. I believe Khun Chawarin is strong and has every right to know about it. Also, what will happen if he knows about this from someone else?"

I do want to tell him but I don't know how. As much as I want to share everything with Nhu, I don't want to cause him stress. But Foei is right. Nhu trusts me a lot and I should trust him as well.

"I got it, Foei. I will...I will tell him everything."

"Khaap Khun Zee, Khun Max informed that he found a good lawyer. Someone he knows for years."

"Right, tell Max to come to my house tomorrow morning together with Nat. Clear all of my schedules tomorrow."

"Yes, Khun Zee. About Mr. Panich's men-"

"Hia, are you finished with your work?" I was startled by Nunew barging in. Did he hear everything we just talked about now? I signed Foei to go out.

"Yes, I'm done with my work. Are you tired, Nhu? Shall we go home?"

"Um, Nhu is hungry."

"Aww Nhu, hurry up. Let's go home and Hia will make delicious food for you."

"Nhu, come on we are here." We reached our home after a few minutes' drive. I was worried Nhu would fall asleep in the car and would have to skip dinner. But thankfully, he was still awake. Well, not fully awake is still better than sleeping.

We got out of the car and went inside the house. Upon entering, my hands were immediately abandoned and Nhu was hugging James when just a minute ago he was holding so dearly onto me. Traitor.

"P'James! When did you arrive? Why are you here? Nhu is so happy to see you. Are you staying here tonight?" Nhu was asking questions non-stop, excitement evident in his eyes.

"Hoii, Nunew you are squeezing me. And yes, we are staying here tonight. Now let go of me or I will die suffocating." Nhu immediately lets go with an apologetic smile. "I have something for you but first we should eat. We are dead hungry waiting for you two."

"Where's Net?" I asked James not seeing Net anywhere. "He has gone out to get some snacks, he will be back soon." Talking about the Devil, Net also came with his hands full of snacks. Nhu was now out of reach more busy prying those bags of snacks and I knew there was no way I would get his attention now. So, I let them enjoy the snacks while I get on to prepare dinner.
