"TIME REVEALS EVERYTHING

Sid took me to the psychologist. There was nothing new; I had already attended several sessions before, and I don't want to go there anymore. Dr. Brown asks strange questions, and I don't like it. Plus, she's a girl, so annoying. I just hate certain types of girls.

She kept probing about that day, but I didn't want to disclose my vulnerability to anyone. It's okay to tell Sid because he's my brother, and I can rely on him, but it's not okay to tell others. I told her that I don't want to remember that thing, as I always say, and she agrees. Because she understood that as a businessman, I would never reveal information if I chose not to. Moreover, she collects her fees, so it's her duty to ask this question in every session as a formality. But, I don't believe she's a psychologist at all, as she collects fees and kept asking me same questions, that's it.

I came out of her office and after that she called Sid inside.

When he came out after a while, he said in a somber tone, "So you're never going to confide in anyone, huh?"

"You already knew that," I smirked.

"You can trust her; she'll keep it a secret," Sid said.

"But what if she doesn't keep it secret? She could exploit my vulnerability. She is a girl, she can do that. And you know what, stop wasting money on this nonsense; invest it in something worthwhile," I blurted out.

"You know what, Ayaan, I guess you were right; I shouldn't waste 'YOUR MONEY' on this nonsense. It will benefit me, not you. So, I'm sorry, dude, for squandering your money! And also Yeah she is a girl so what you will never ever rely on any girl?" he conveyed his displeasure.

"No, bro, it's not like that, but..." I began to explain, but he walked away, clearly upset. I knew his anger was justified, but I didn't care about all this. I didn't want to open up in front of Dr. Brown.

I confide in Sid because I trust him with everything. But she is just a stranger to me. I understand that strangers sometimes offer the best advice, but sometimes they can betray your trust.

Mom, dad, uncle, and aunt also trusted someone, but in the end, they were not with us because they shared their private life with a murderer. If I had to trust someone, my inner voice tells me that yes, Ayaan, you can rely on him/her. After their death, I experienced psychological issues. I witnessed something frightening.

But here... Forget it. I followed him, but by that time, he had already left with the car. Then I saw my driver had come here with my car, so I asked him who called him here.

He said, "Sid sir, called and asked me to pick you up directly to go home."

"Fine. Let's go home," I sighed.

I know his anger will be almost gone by morning. If not, then I'll do something.

Anjana and Kabir reached hospital.

"Dr. Lee, Miss Ruhi's mother and brother are here. Did you ask them for a meeting with you?" the Receptionist asked.

"Yeah, please ask them to come inside," Dr. Lee replied.

Receptionist nodded.

The receptionist invited them to Dr. Lee's office. They greeted the doctor and asked why he wanted to meet them.

"Actually, you forgot to fill out the form yesterday, and also I didn't get a chance to talk to you either. And you were nowhere to find in the morning, so I called you here," Dr. Lee explained.

"Okay, doctor. We'll fill out the formtoday. We have some urgent matters to attend to, so we can't stay hereovernight," Kabir responded.

"I understand. It might be challenging for you two to manage these things alone. By the way, where is Mr. Agarwal? I wanted to see him and discuss the incident in detail." He inquired.

"Dr. Lee, right?" Kabir confirmed.

"Yes."

"We already provided a detailed explanation of the incident yesterday. Why do you keep asking the same question? Also, why do you want to meet my father? We are her family, so there's no need to involve him," Kabir responded with frustration.

"Because her injuries were severe and I needed to speak with an adult, that's why I inquired about your father."

After a brief silence, Dr. Lee continued, "Okay, please fill out the form. And in 2-3 days, we will shift Ruhi in Private room, as her condition will be improved soon."

Dr. Lee knew they might doubt him, hence he didn't tried to ask anything further.

"Oh that's great. Thank you." Anjana and Kabir left his office.

"Mom, why don't you tell dad about this?" Kabir inquired.

"I don't want to worry your dad further. He's already stressed with his work. I can't understand why Ruhi doesn't prioritize her family over her career."

Kabir remained silent, knowing well his mother's desire for Ruhi to marry into wealthy families.

"But Dr. Lee will keep questioning us about that. I saw the suspicion on his face. Please, Mom, call Dad and ask him to come here."

"No, I won't, and don't you dare do it either, or I'll tell your dad about those girls you've been chatting with."

Kabir stayed silent, knowing that if his dad found out he was chatting with random girls, he would have to work as an employee in the family business.

A man standing nearby overheard their conversation. After a moment of silence, he sighed and walked away. Kabir and Anjana also left from hospital.

They visited the hospital every evening and stayed until night, hoping for Ruhi's recovery.
