I don't know when I drifted off to sleep. I woke up when my phone rang.
"Hey AL. Good Morning," It is Ishaan.
"He--y, Mo--rning," I just woke up, so my voice was little bit lazy as I yawned.
"Did I disturb your sleep?"
"Of course, you did loser."
"And I'm not sorry for that! Now, let me tell you why I'm disturbing you so early. This morning, I was watching the news, and everyone is talking about you. I came to know a lot of investors are eager to invest in your business," Ishaan said, his voice buzzing with excitement. I didn't respond right away, still groggy, but after a few seconds, his words hit me like a bolt of lightning.
"Whattttttt? Are you kidding me? How can I be on the news? Dude, did you take some drug or what?"
"I'm fucking serious man, and AL, even my company want to invest in your company!!"
"What are you saying?" I blinked in disbelief.
"Okay listen, do one thing, go and freshen up yourself then watch some news. You will understand what I am saying, okay?"
"Fine, I'll call you back," I muttered, still half in disbelief but now fully awake.
I hung up the call and went straight to the bathroom. After getting ready, I switched on the TV and tuned into the news channel.
"FUCKING HELL!" and I couldn't believe this was really happening, I was in total shock-it felt like someone had put a Taser to my head.
By hearing those words, Myra came over to me. As I bawled.
"What happened?" she probed.
I grabbed her jaw and turned her towards the TV, and she was just as shocked.
"Oh My God, that's fantastic bro. Did you check your insta account? May be investors might have already reached out to you!" she's right I hadn't even have time to check my phone. I opened the Instagram and saw it wasn't 10 or 100 but 1000 of the followers requested me! Back when I was Ruhi Agarwal, I didn't get this much followers but as an Alisha Lee, I've got 1000 requests and maybe half of the requests are probably from investors, gosh!!!
I called bhai to share the good news.
"Bhai, guess what?"
