Cadmus∆

"Cadmus,Where are you?"Someone called my name. "Wh-Who are you."I shouted. "Don't you remember me,Baby."A shadow appears over me. "Yo-you wh-why are you....".I can't even complete my line and he hit me. "Don't dare to speak.I will be back very soon baby."

I wake up again breathing heavily but Drystan was still not there. My hands were trembling.My whole body was not with me.I was shivering.I totally lose myself.I can't speak a word.I was crying and crying.Not able to take breath.After sometime I can't breathe.And where I once shouted my lungs out 'Drystan'And it was so loud that even my neighbors could hear it.

I hear the door opening sound and saw Drystan with a confused expression but after seeing me it changed into worried.  "Drystan-hiccup-Drystan please-hiccup"I wasn't able to say anything. He came running to me and hugged me without asking anything."I am here baby.I am here.Shh stop crying please.Stop crying.I am here for you.No one is here.It's only me.You are safe baby."I hugged him so tightly and he didn't let me go.

He carried me on the bed.He didn't leave me for a sec.I was slowly getting calm down.I felt safe.I felt happy.I was now safe no one can touch me if he is with me. I looked at his face with my teary eyes which has no literally no tears left in it. "Sorry"I slowly muttered. "Shh!Sleep baby and take rest."He said with a sweet smile that only appears when I am around.

"I am not sleepy and I don't want to sleep now. It's so scary.He will kill me."I said hugging him more tightly. "Why?I am here.No one will touch you.If they did than they are already tired by their life." He assured me. After sometime ,I slowly drifted to sleep.

Drystan∆

I was shocked and scared after seeing him.His whole body was trembling.He can't speak.He was crying continuously.He was breathless.He scared me to death.He was now asleep but I can't.I don't know how to ask him about him and without knowing anything I can't understand or do something for him.After 10 mins of thinking i also slept.

Beep* Beep* Beep*

I put that disgusting alarm off that I totally hate.I look at the other side of bed,it was empty. "Cady!"I called him. No response came. "Cadmus,Baby where are you?"I again called him.I went down to the kitchen and found no one.

"Drystan"I turned back and saw him standing there with a dull face. "Why did you get up so early baby?"I asked. "Umm Nothin-nothing.I came to drink water."He said clearly lying." Will you stop lying to me please."I was having a headache."He said. I become silent.I still didn't believe that he is saying the truth.I checked his forehead with the back of my hand and he was burning with fever.

"You have fever baby,why don't you tell me?"I asked.And take him to the room. "It's just a little bit and will be fine in some hours.It happens.Don't worry."He said with a smile. "It's not a bit,you have high fever.Go and rest in bed.And yeah no arguments."I ordered him. And still with a little argument,he finally agreed.

He was sulking.Refusing to take medicine not eating anything.But still I managed to do it too. He was now sleeping and I came out for some fresh air.Suddenly I saw Silas coming towards the home.

"Hey,Drystan.What's up?"He waved at me. "Oh,Hey Silas!Am good.How come you here?"I asked. "Just wanted to pay a visit to my best friend and his boyfriend."He laughed. "Great, Cady is sleeping."I said taking him inside the house. "At this hour?"He said pointing towards his watch. "Yeah,he didn't sleep the whole night and now he is having a high fever so he is resting."I explained. "What!He was having fever.Did you know why he get fever?"He asked like there was something.

"I don't know when I touched him in the morning,he was burning with high fever.And he was so afraid at night because of nightmare. I think there is something that left a deep mark in his life."I said. "He again got that?"He asked. "Umm..yeah.Coffee?"I asked.He was tensed.

"Sure."He said. "He is in his room,you can meet him.I will be there in some minutes.You too should talk a bit."I said.He nodded.

Silas∆

I knocked on the door but no one answers.So I went inside.I saw Cadmus sleeping peacefully on the bed.I sat beside him.Brush off the hairs that was on his forehead.

"Silas!"His voice was a little weak. "Yes,I am here."I said cheerfully.But his dropped. "What happened Cady?Why so sad?I can't see you like  anymore."Tears started coming out. "I can't too Silas.It's so difficult to handle now.I don't want to live anymore but after that I remember my mother,you,Carlin and now Drystan.I can't leave you all.But I can't stand here anymore.I am so sick of this life."He said and hugged me. "It's alright.Don't worry,everything is going to be alright Cady.You can do it my sweet candy. You had done so many things,what's this in front of you.You should know that not everyone can't be available at any time but if you will remember them,think about them and feel safe when thinks about them they are with you.Than just only make a call and talk to them.No one is that busy that they can't even text or pick up your call.If they are you loved ones than no matter they will find a way to talk to you."I gave him a little smile.

"I understand.I will make sure about it."He said wiping away my tears. "How come you here,today?"He asked. "What do you mean by coming here.Everyone asked me the same question.I want to ask that I only have one best friend and can't I visit him?"I pouted.

"Don't pout like this Mr.Silas Johnson,you are not a child anymore."He laughed. "Yeah,I know that I am not a child.But you are a child Mr.Cadmus Caspian."I said crossing my arms. "What do you mean?"He asked. "Drystan is working alone and taking care of you and you what did you do for him?"I asked a bit rudely. "That's what I am thinking the whole time.He Did so much to me and what I give him in return pain,guilt."He said with a sad face.

"You did soo much for me.And you shouldn't be tense about it.You never gave me pain or guilt.You always gave me happiness and what I deserve.So don't blame yourself."Drystan said suddenly appearing at the door entrance. "But I-"Cady was interrupted by him. "No buts and if you ever thought about this,either tell me and talk about it or burn that thought at that time."

"Okay,I will not."Cady said with a cute smile.I noticed why didn't this smile appears when we are around. "Get up and take medicines."Drystan said with some medicines and glass in his hand.

We all were now talking more like gossiping about some people.I told Cady everything about what happens in this earlier days when he wasn't present at college.And tomorrow is the day when Cadmus will be free and and will be present with us.And again that happy days will come.

Carlin∆

I was waiting for Silas and Cady at our usual spot.It's been so many days since I saw Cadmus.I can't make it to his home as I was so busy with my work or with mother.

I saw Cady coming towards me and before he reached me like always I reached first. "Candy! How are you love?You know how much I miss you?"Everyone eyes was on us.But do I care ?Actually never.

"Down your voice Carlin,it's college not home. There are so many people who want to come into our conversation but they don't get a chance."He said with a smirk.His eyes were only on a group that never fails to tease us or want to put their fucking nose in it.

"A good comeback,Boy."I laughed. We all sat at the table.And talked for sometime before our lecture starts. "Cady,I want to say one thing.I had been hiding this for a little long."

"Speak Carlin."He said and I continue "You know that guy,Leon?"His face dropped but I still continue "That guy is in our college now. And his brother Liam,he is too actually and that you already know.So better if you see them don't fight with them it's not worthy,I know that line never came from me but I want your safety first I don't want your past to be repeated.So if they mess with you than call me or Silas and also you have got Drystan."

He sighed and get up from the seat. "Where to?"I asked and he didn't replied. And with a last sigh he finally looked back. "Sorry Carlin, I didn't mean to but don't worry I am alright and will meet you in lecture or cafeteria."He said with a weak smile and left.

"He looks so bad,Silas.Can't we do anything for him?I don't want my Cady to be like this.I love him the way he was when there was nothing to worry and if there was any problem,he never worry about that and says it's nothing and everything will be alright."I said. "You are right ,He was so happy and with one guy it all get ruined.He is Broken and I can't do anything for him."He said with few tears.

"Don't cry.You are best for him.And if he listen to this bullshit he will surely beat you."I said and he chuckled.We both headed towards class,wish Cady came too.
