Lilian
Will finally opened up to me last night. Telling me more about his family. I just wish he would keep talking. He starts to open up, but then walks away.
The dress I thrown on today seems to be getting a bit snug. I'm not even that far along yet, but I already am getting huge. Will keeps looking over at me tugging at my dress, trying to get it to sit right.
"Do you want to run by Abigail's house to see if she has some bigger clothes?" Will looks at me and asks. Only having one hand on the steering wheel.
"No, it's not a big issue." I reply back without even looking at him. The tension between us feels so weird anymore.
Will said we needed to run by the town so he could grab a part or two. The hills around here seem to never end, along with the pastures of just cows. I truly miss the city streets and the busyness of them.
Cars honking, lady's walking in there new fancy dresses, and the business men dressed in their formal suits for work. Not wearing their old choring clothes. I wonder what Will would look like in a suit? Handsome I'm sure.
"Now don't be mad, but you need to grab a few dresses that'll fit the baby bump. I can't have you without any clothes." He chuckles to himself as he puts the truck in park.
Stepping out of the truck I turn to see the small one story house that stands in front of me. It has a light faded yellow color to it, with years of worn. There is a small path that leads to the front porch from where the drive way is.
Following Will up to the screen door the chickens peck the ground around us.
"I didn't know you would be coming over." Abigail runs out saying. She has a shadow following close behind her.
A little boy with messy dirty blonde hair and big brown eyes grabs onto her dress as she stand on the front porch.
"Well we are wondering if you could help Lily. Her dresses are starting to get a little snug." He puts his hand on the small of my back. Almost pushing me more towards the porch.
"I'm sure I we can find you something in my mess of clothes." Abigail turns to walk back inside with the little boy following.
"Fred in the shop?" Will questions out.
"Can't get him out there. The damn new tractor has his head in a twist. Tell him he has a family while your in there." She yells out as she opens the screen door for me.
"Come on in! Don't be shy!" She says to me as I follow inside.
The house is lived in. Nothing like Will's house. The kitchen is the first thing you enter, a large table in the middle with fresh flowers in the center.
The kitchen is filled with shelves full of books and drawings on the wall. Flowers are found all around on every surface.
"Our room is in the back here. Newest addition Fred added after we had the last kid." She moves very fast, as though she is on a mission for some where.
We go through an arch way and are in what seems to be a living room. There are at least five doors all around. She leads to another hallway that has only one door at the end.
Their bedroom is very plain. A bed with side tables and a small picture of a farm that hangs above a dresser in the corner. A long standing mirror sits in the corner with a plant behind the door. A picture of Fred and her sit on one of the night stands.
"That dress does look a little tight." She moves to a door and opens it. Showing many different dresses and shirts all hung up neatly. "We will have to do a fashion show and find what you like best."
