I got out of bed. It felt as if I was floating through my house. Everything was in place, but Shay, Mato, and Loki weren't there; I could feel someone was watching me. I wandered into the living room and the TV had an arm sticking out. "What the actual hell!", I said. I remembered that I woke up in the desert. "What did I eat today?" I knew that I had just gone grocery shopping, so there had to be something for me to eat. I opened the fridge to see cameras, arms, and eyes staring at me. I slammed the door and fell backward onto the counter, I felt my throat start closing up with fear. I held my face and screamed into my hands, I just wanted to go home. I got up and looked around. The TV caught my eye again, it was ushering me in. I walked over and everything felt clearer, It stuck its hand out wanting me to shake it. I gave in to its request and it pulled me in.

My eyes shot open and I took a sharp breath. I looked around; there were arrows everywhere. They said, 'here' and 'there'. It still felt like there were eyes on me, I looked around me and there was a portal. It was pink with bubbles around it and broken glass under it. Where is everybody, and what the hell is going on? I felt like I would be home if I went to the other side. I stepped into the portal, it felt like a vacuum, I saw everything that's happened to me since waking up in the desert. I stepped into the other side of the portal and looked up and there was a sign, 'Welcome to Elsewhere'.

"Cody!" I heard Maxx yell from behind me. I turned around and hugged him. Zach walked through a yellow portal, "What the fuck?" I heard him say under his breath, "Cody. Why are you pink?" I looked at my hair, It was bright, neon pink. "Zach, you can't say anything," Maxx yelled, "Your hair's yellow!". "Maxx, you're green by the way, and your hair is in pigtails.", I said, looking around. "Well, they're cute, right?" Maxx asked, looking at Zach.

Reality hit me, we're not home. I felt myself starting to breathe heavier and I was getting lightheaded again. I fell onto the floor and started hyperventilating. Zach sat down beside me to comfort me. "Cody, we're gonna get out of here.", he said. I didn't believe him, I looked around and realized that we were in a room with no exit. "Zach, look at the walls!" I screamed, standing up, "There are no doors! How are we gonna leave?". I felt my eyes start to water, I was looking anywhere for any escape. I got up and started punching the wall. "Cody! Stop!" Maxx screamed. Zach picked me up and said, "Dude, calm down. You look like an idiot.". I took a deep breath, "Okay." Then he put me down. I stepped back until I felt the wall, and slid down it to calm down. Maxx walked away and also slid down the wall, "Cody," Maxx said, putting his head on my shoulder. "It's going to be okay, I promise.". My eyes were heavy, and I felt myself falling asleep. For the first time, I was safe for what felt like forever.

I heard a bell ring. "Oh my God!", I heard Maxx scream. "Cody, wake up!". My eyes were adjusting to the light. All that was going through my head was 'Damn, I gotta sample that bell.'. Maxx shook me awake, "Wake up! Cody, please.". I saw him get dragged away by a disembodied hand. "Maxx!" I screamed. I scrambled to stand up, the hand grabbed my shirt and pulled me into the white abyss.

I woke up again, even more confused. I was in front of a desk. There was a girl with long, yellow hair and a name tag that said 'Angel'. "Hey, where am I?" I asked. She looked up from whatever she was looking at on her desk, there wasn't a computer which I thought was weird. She rolled her eyes, "There's a big sign where you come in! Can you not read?". She looked down again. "Okay," I said. "Did you see anyone else walk by?". She looked over the counter, "Yeah, a tall, yellow one and a green twink. They're over there. Oh! And here's this." She said with fake enthusiasm. I looked at what she gave me, it was a sticker for what number I was. I can't tell if this is a hospital or a prison. "Cody! Holy shit you're alright!". Zach screamed. "Where did you come from?!". I looked around, "I don't know.". I looked back at the desk, a devil was talking and pointing at Maxx; his leg was bouncing more than normal. "Hey, Maxx.", I said, "Are you alright?". He didn't look at me, he was staring at the devil. "No, why is the devil here and why is he, probably, talking about me?" He shouted in a whisper. The devil nodded to the receptionist and sat next to Maxx. A few minutes later, a humanoid lizard walked into the room, then a normal person who seemed a little too arrogant, and then a girl in a bunny mask. When she walked in I saw that the room was a red operating room.

The devil saw that we were staring at the door and he got up and started dancing like a lunatic. He touched Maxx's face and forced him to stand up. "Cody, Zach," Maxx yelled in discomfort and panic, "What do I do?". Zach was also panicking, "I don't know! Dance with him?" He said. Maxx got up and started head-banging. They only danced briefly until he told Maxx to sit down. I knew he was trying to distract us from something or someone. He started laughing uncontrollably and sat back down. The bell rang again. There was a screen with the number 11 on it. I looked down at my shirt and saw that that was my number. "Zach," I said, "What do I do?". He looked around. "Just stay here and see what happens." He said. I stayed in my seat, "Uh, hello?" the receptionist said, waving her hand.

I tried hiding the number on my shirt, she gave me a dirty look and picked up the phone to call someone. I couldn't understand what she was saying. A minute later, two doctors dressed in red scrubs. I started panicking. "Zach, Maxx?", I screamed. The nurses grabbed me by the arms and started dragging me to the operating room. One threw me around the corner while the other went to the operating table. She picked up a bat and raised it above her head. "No! Please!" I screamed. She didn't think twice. She struck my head.

All I heard was my ears ringing. My vision was fuzzy. There was a bright, flashy light above my head. I was in the red room, there were clocks everywhere, I was in a hospital gown and I was connected to an IV. The nurses were standing over me, staring at me with no emotion behind their eyes. One of them raised a pair of pliers and plunged them into my side. I shot up, I thought the IV I was connected to was anesthesia, and I felt everything. The other nurse pushed me down and started cutting my stomach. I tried screaming but nothing came out of my mouth.

I heard them whispering, I didn't understand what they were saying, it sounded like gibberish. I started wondering if this pain was going to last forever. I was thinking about Shay again and how worried she was about me. I don't know how long it's been for her, I don't even know how long I've been here. I started crying. It didn't feel like tears, It was blood. I shot up again. "No!", one of the nurses screamed, "Stay down!". I was fighting them, I wanted to go home. One of them started holding me down by my shoulder and the other one was digging into my chest. I shot up and finally screamed. They slammed me down and everything went black.
