Maxx was calling me. "Hey." I answered the phone. "Hey, Zach, did you know Cody can get on the ceiling?" Maxx asked. I took a deep sigh, "Yeah I know he can.". I grabbed my keys. "He summoned Elsewhere and now there's an apocalypse and I don't know what to do." Maxx started crying. "Calm down, I'm on my way!" I replied. I ran out the door, started my car, and sped to Maxx's house
As I drove towards his house, the skies were red and giant eyes in the sky. I rushed out of my car and ran towards the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door. "Zach!" Maxx screamed running to hug me. "Where's Sarah?" I asked. Maxx looked up to me; his eyes were red from crying. I put my hand on his head. "Andy took her, that's why I called you." He replied. "We'll find her, and Cody.". He nodded his head. I walked over the hallway, "Do you think they went down here?". I asked, carefully peaking around the corner "I don't know, I was knocked unconscious by Andy.". Wow, I thought Andy was nice. "We'll look down here anyways; they have to be somewhere." I replied. "Okay." Maxx opened the first door and gasped. "What is it?!" I screamed running up to him
"It's my favorite album!" He said running into the room. It was empty other than the one vinyl. "Put it back.". He set it down and walked out the room. We heard fire crackling in the other room. "Cody!" Maxx said, swinging the door open. He was standing in the corner in front of a fire. "Hey, guys! How's it been?" Cody said, turning around trying to hide the flame. "Why are you burning the wall?!" I asked. "I'm practicing, I want to get better at this.". He replied putting the fire out. "You do know that there is an apocalypse outside, right?" I asked. "Oh no, whatever will we do." He said sarcastically, he started floating up. "Show off." Maxx mumbled under his breath. "Yes, I know that there's an apocalypse, Andy told me all about it.". I was confused as to why he wasn't just a little scared. "Are you trying to take this away from me?" Cody accused us, "No! We're trying to help you." I defended myself and Maxx, we were inching backward to the door, "Get out!" Cody screamed; it was ear-shattering. Me and Maxx went flying through the door.
"So, what now?" Maxx said getting up, checking if he was okay. "Cody's being controlled, I can tell." I said, "We have to find Andy,". Maxx looked confused, "What about Sarah?" He asked, "I already thought about that. Sarah is probably with him," I saw his leg start bouncing, "It's okay, Maxx, we'll get through this." He nodded his head.
We searched for the room Andy was in. "Frank!" We heard him screaming from Sarah's room. We peaked around the corner "Frank, why is Zach here?!" I felt my heart drop to my stomach. "Find him, I don't have that much control over Cody. If I did then I would make him kill Zach.". I pulled Maxx away from the door frame. "Zach?" Maxx said, "What did I do? Why me?" I asked. "You didn't do anything, don't listen to him, let's convince Cody that Andys an asshole and isn't on his side." Maxx replied. "Okay."
I opened the door, "Cody, we have to tell you something." Maxx said, Cody turned around swiftly, his eyes glowing neon blue. "If it's about Andy don't even bother!". Cody said, walking up the wall. "Cody, listen Andy's controlling you," I said, "I heard him say it,". He started laughing "No he isn't, you're lying!" I could hear the pain in his voice, "Andy wants me dead! Does it sound like I'm lying now?" I screamed. His shoulders relaxed, looked around and started crying. "I'm sorry," He fell off the ceiling onto his back.
Maxx and I ran to help Cody off the floor, "Cody, get up!" I yelled, shaking him. Cody slowly got up. "I'm sorry, Zach," he said, hugging me. "I don't know why I trusted Andy in the first place, I should've just listened to you.". I felt terrible, like it was my fault this was happening "It's okay, it's not your fault. Andy's a manipulator." I replied. "Do you need a break?" Maxx continued. "Yeah, but we need to get rid of Andy! Wait where's Sarah?" Cody asked. I looked at Maxx "She's with Andy, I hope. We didn't see her when we saw him last.". Cody got up and walked out the door "Andy!"
