When the universe was created, there were many beings
created alongside it to keep everything safe and in balance.
They were powerful beings, guardians of the universe. They
could shapeshift, allowing them to travel and hide with ease.
One was the guardian of dreams, a compassionate being
by the name of Xalneon. He had white skin and many blue eyes
in his preferred form. Many of the other guardians worried that
he did not take his job seriously enough. He was very close to
the most powerful of the guardians. Her name was Galnara. She
was the guardian of time and space. Her skin mirrored space,
and she had seven brilliant blue eyes, along with six wings in
her preferred form.
But not all the guardians were on… good terms with
Xalneon. They cast him out, into the shadows, and put a new
guardian in charge of dreams. Xalneon became the guardian of
nightmares and shadows. Galnara was distraught. She grew
distant from everything, and the other guardians noticed that
something was wrong. They asked her, but she always said that
it was nothing. She never saw Xalneon again. Until…
