Night Terrors | CHAP 4

Jongho didn't sleep well last night, he kept waking up in the middle of the night. It was around 2am and Jongho jolted up from his sleep, from a night terror, he was utterly convinced someone was in his room watching him, stalking him.

It was now 6am and he hadn't been able to fall asleep, he was so tired, and today was actually going to be his first day working without the watchful eyes of Mingi, And he was finally going to meet his 3rd patient that he had been assigned. Since apparently he recovered from surgery? at least that was the text he got from Mingi at 5am in the morning.

JONGHO POV.

As per usual the hospital was quiet, Apparently Dr Mingi was sick so he wasn't here, as his scanned his badge to go into his own personal office, But before he step inside he felt a cold hand on his shoulder. "Dr Jongho!" 

I didn't recognize the voice at all, i turned around and saw a very smiley male, "Hiiii i'm Dr Choi, But um, since we have same last name, you can call me Dr San, i'm the head surgeon here, I'm here to give you a report about Hongjoong!" 

Man, this man was very happy, but the important question whose Hongjoong? 

"Oh, you must've gotten the wrong doctor, i don't know who Hongjoong is-" 

San looked confused for a split second, then he smiled and smacked his face gently which um... was interesting..."How can i be so stupid, i forgot you didn't meet him! he's your 3rd patient, He's a demon!" 

I must be completely losing my shit already, did he just say demon?! aint no fucking- 

"Dr Jongho? are you in shock i said demon?"  he smiled again, full of light

"Y-yes y-you are correct" I said, just as i was getting used to this um.. interesting workplace i would have to deal, face, and mostly build a doctor-patient relation with a demon?!

Dr San, just giggled, cutely.. gosh this man was adorable in like a childish way

"Please allow me to come into your office we can chat? perhaps Dr Mingi or Dr Yunho didn't give a good answer on what we do here? they usually never do to the new doctors" He sounded almost disappointed. 

This poor man probably had explained the same thing everytime..

"Please?" I finally was going to get answers i've been wanting

We went inside surprisingly, my office was pretty big, i actually hadn't had a good look at it till now. I sat down in nice big office chair and Dr San pulled out a extra stool for himself. 

"So, please reframe that my patient Hongjoong is a demon? no way-" 

Dr San, just smirked and turned his head a bit, "Well, he is, very much so."

I looked at him in the most deadpan expression ever. "Then why did you operate on him?! aren't they supernatural beings?!" 

San looked at me in shock, his mouth gaping open a bit, "i didn't expect you to be so close-minded Dr Jongho." 

"Answer my question i'm being serious." 

He cleared his throat "Well, this hospital lab is a research facility for i guess you could say supernatural beings, we study, and most of all keep them private from the public, we keep them safe, i suppose. The reason why i operated on Hongjoong was because he needed to be sedated for us to inject his meds." 

I sat back, confused still, but i guess i would get used to it. "May i ask what meds?" 

San than gave a almost evil smirk, "To keep him under control, yknow limit his powers, and weakened his strength."
