The next day was another big day, not only for hyunjin but for me too.

We went to our uni and they provided us cheerleaders the uniform we were supposed to wear. It was in 2 colors: deep blue and white.

And there was a bird logo printed on our chests with a star upon it.

I have no idea what bird is that but it was pretty good not gonna lie, the logo itself smells victory

I have no idea what bird is that but it was pretty good not gonna lie, the logo itself smells victory. Then someone from the team told me that the bird's supposed to be a FALCON.

Hyunjin's team's name was "The United Bluebirds".

The name explains the color of our uniform, I like the creativity they put in their names and logo.

We were getting ready for our positions as the players were walking down the aisle.

I was really nervous, so I started revising my steps to make sure I learnt everything.

Hyunjin waved at me from the court and we wished each other good luck.

The audience wasn't a JOKE, I can count ateast THOUSANDS of people chit-chattering among each other with excitement. And that WASN'T helping me calm down. The more people are coming, the more I'm DOOMED.

The opposite team's name was pretty dangerous, "The Net RIPPERS"

And these two teams made it to the final because they are their university's best basketball teams. So it's pretty much gonna be an intense match.

And THEIR cheerleading team was looking tough enough. They were warming up. Now let me ask you something, what is included in a SIMPLE warm up? Stretching your arms and legs and your head, right? But this team was in their own world of "warm up". The girls were doing a freakin CONTINUOUS CARTWHEEL as a way to "stretch" their body. And then they started all kinds of gymnastics and acrobatics that I don't even know the name of.

We were NOTHING compared to THEM. I looked at my team, who weren't even trying to STRETCH their body or ATLEAST revise the steps, they were gossiping about how "breathtaking" those players present in the court are.

The opposite university looks way more tough than ours. They were SERIOUS about this match unlike my team. I started warming up looking at them do it.

10 minutes later

The match started, and so did our cheerleading. We did our cheer chant and ran to the border of the field to start the performance.

At first few rounds, we only sang the small poem or chant, idk what to call it and jiggled our pom-poms in the air skipping around like a lil' child. I know you're waiting for the stunts to arrive, but that's the grand-finale. We'll do it at the last round aka the INTENSE round.

Ofcourse, we took breaks in between coz we can't keep jumping around for continuous 48 mins. (Excluding the time-outs and half-times)

Both of the teams had a tie, and just right after that, it was half-time break of 15 mins.
