Jennie reached the caffè,
"Over here" I said as I waved my hand.
She saw me and came running over here.
Jennie: Long time no see Yaz! How ya doin?
"Better, now that I met you" I said with a wink.
Jennie: Aww!
It DOES feel better after meeting your lifetime bestie after a long time of living under pressure though. When you enter university, you just realize how busy you can get. You wake up early, go to the university and study there for 10-12 hours, out of these 12 hours, we practice the last 5 hours for cheerleading in which breaking legs is a MUST. Then come back home looking drunk coz your legs are wobbling. Then eat some snacks and then BACK to 6 hours of self-study, after all that, you can finally sleep! Only for 3-4 hours though.
And in such schedules, you can barely even LOOK at your friends faces. So finding time to talk to them can be very rare.
Although I keep forgetting that this isn't school anymore, where you only get to rot for 7 hours a day studying. Well, that 7 hours has now been converted to 12 HOURS. So yea, I better watch out!
Jennie: Hey! you have got dark circles under your eyes!
"Yours is no different too" I said in a tired voice.
Jennie: Understandable, we all are pulling an all-nighter every night.
"There's really nothing you can do about it, they give you 10 assignments a day to complete having more than 30 pages of questions you gotta do. So you gotta stay up till 3am to complete all that shit." I said banging my head on the table.
Jennie: I know right! It's a living nightmare!!!
"Girl, by the way..... WHERE TF ARE YOU AT IN UNIVERSITY?? I rarely see you in there. Don't you participate in any extra activities?!"
Jennie: Activities? Hell nah! I need to focus on studies more! I just study in class the whole time, that's why you don't see me.
"And what about food?" I asked.
Jennie: I pack my own and eat in class.
"Are you avoiding me or something? ATLEAST APPEAR IN THE CAFETERIA!" I exclaimed.
Jennie: Yah! How could you even think of me avoiding you?! You know that how I almost got the worst marks in high school, and thank God luck was there with me for getting me into this university! So I need to focus in my top priority which is studies so that I don't repeat my misfortune!
"Sigh, ok sorry.... but I want to meet you once a day atleast. The last time I met you face to face was when you were roasting hyunjin."
Jennie: I'll try, I'll try to meet you more often....
I sighed and patted her on the back.
"I'm suffering with cheerleading these days, most of it is only because of an annoying brat named janice."
Jennie: Ah, her again?!
"Y-you know her?!"
Jennie: Tell me who doesn't!!! She's all everyone can talk about in school, besides the dance show and basketball competition, ofcourse.
"And she's taking part in that too! What do people find so interesting to talk about her?!"
Jennie: It's all about her wealth, that rich brat's dad is a CEO of a huge famous company, so she thinks she is better than everyone. She even demands everyone to buy products from her dad's company so it can keep getting more support.
I agreed as I got up to find the trashcan to throw my coffee cup in.
I found one at the corner of the caffè and walked up there to throw the trash, after doing that when I was returning to my seat... I mistakenly bumped into a guy wearing all black, even covering his face. His eyes were the only ones visible.
"I'm sorry I wasn't loo-"
A scar, a scar on his left eye is what made me stop. He looked at me for a second and then gave a smirk, I could make out by his eyes.
I tried walking away but he held my hand and pulled me back.
He then tucked my hair behind my ear, came closer and whispered, "I'll come back for you..."
Now that gave me chills down my spine. I don't know whenever I see him.... I just can't click back to my senses, I stop then and there just staring at him with fear, I want to move but I can't. It's all because of the trauma he caused me in the past...
He let me go and I rushed back to my seat.
Jennie: Everything good? I see you're sweating.
"Y-yes everything's good, nothing wrong... really nothing"
Am I supposed to really hide this?
After that coincidence, me and jennie just talked for a little more while and headed back to our rooms cause we needed to study and the time is ticking...
