After that awkward incident I found a small coffee shop and entered it. It's interior was beautifully decorated.

Perfect atmosphere to let me escape the bitter reality...

I took a seat beside the window and ordered hot coffee, while I was waiting for it, I checked my phone. There was a message from our hotel staffs, it said:

"Dear residents of
'The Peninsula Dorms',

We have an unfortunate news to inform you that today, at sharp 9 PM, the electricity of this hotel will be cut off for atleast the next 3 hours due to not having enough power to use for future
circumstances,

We request you to be ready with all the needed supplies beforehand as the temperature is really low. Please make sure to not get out of the hotel premises after 9 PM due to the recent breaking news of the wanted serial killer breakout in the city. 

We apologize you for the inconvenience and I hope you can cooperate with us,

"Ahh great! Power cut off, in the middle of winter, and that too at the time WHERE THERE IS A SERIAL KILLER ROAMING IN THIS CITY"

I guess I said the last few words a little too loud because now everyone was staring at me like I'M the serial killer.

No but seriously?! Today?! At NIGHT?! There's no way I can survive without the electricity with such a low temperature out there, imma freeze to death!

I gotta hoard like 10 big blankets to keep myself warm. I looked at the time, it was 7:00 PM.

Oh well! Might as well finish this coffee and return back home before it's dark.

I finished the coffee and headed back to the hotel.

"We already have the supplies, I don't think I need to buy anything"

I headed home and Netflix binged for a while until I didn't realize 2 hours went by already and suddenly, THE LIGHT CUT OFF.

"Shoot-"

I opened my phone's torchlight and walked up to my room and started searching for my blankets to cuddle up with, but they were GONE, simply GONE.

I went upto hyunjins room, and sure enough he was sitting there on his bed, four giant blankets covering him and he was munching on a bag of cheetos. 

Someone save me from this guy.

"You could've used your own blankets, why did you take mine too?"

He didn't answer and just simply sat there crunching hard on the snack which was starting to annoy me now.

Nevermind I'd rather shiver to death instead of starting a world war 3.

I went back to my room and sat on the bed with nothing covering me for a minute, I can't even sit like this for a minute, how the heck will I survive 3 hours?!

The only choice left was for me to take off the bedsheets and wrap it around me adding on to 1 pillow left with me.

It didn't help me much, the sheets were thin like paper. It was pitch black in the room with no torchlight.

I decided I'll take a nap, but nothings easy when it's 0 degrees outside and you only got a paper like bedsheet to give you warmth from the harsh cold.

I somehow just shut my eyes and decided to bare through this hell. Surprisingly, my eyes started feeling heavy and slowly, my head which was resting on the wall upright started slowly drifting downwards due to the sleep.

But right then, I hit a hard shoulder and I woke up suddenly to find a manly figure sitting right beside me.
