I shrieked thinking that it was a thief but the person covered my mouth.

Hyunjin: Dummy, it's me.

"How and when did you get in here?!" I whispered harshly.

Hyunjin: How will you see me come to your room when it's pitch black here and you were half-sleeepy? I just came and quietly sat beside you, I didn't mean to wake you up.

He said coldly.

"What is it?"

Hyunjin: huh?

"For what reason did you come here then?" I asked him straightaway.

Hyunjin: Thanks for reminding.

He said while I felt 2 muscular hands pull me close to him as he shared his blanket with me.

My heart started beating faster, it's a good thing it's dark over here so he won't see my face turning red as a tomato.

I could smell his rose body scent through my nose, this moment couldn't get any better I swear.

"W-what do you th-think you're d-doing?" I asked slowly, I couldn't help with my stuttering.

Hyunjin: Do you want to get a frostbite?

"Uh no."

Hyunjin: Then stay like this, that paper-like bedsheet of yours won't help you survive another minute.

I just sat quite. It was awkward silence for 2 minutes until he spoke up again.

Hyunjin: Sharing body heat will keep us more warm, if you are wondering why I pulled you close btw.

"I know."

I just don't know what to say. Does he not mind sitting this close to a person that to a girl who he hates?! Stop sending me mixed signals.

I was feeling sleepy, but I have no choice but to stay awake, cause if I DO fall asleep, I'll probably drift towards his shoulder and trust me, I do NOT wanna look clingy at this moment.

Then as if hyunjin read my mind, he made my head rest on his shoulder.

Hyunjin: Sleep.

HOW DID HE KNOW THAT?!

"Nah I'm good" I said while removing my head from his shoulders, but he pulled me back. My heart is telling me not to avoid this guy's sweet gestures, but I have to, cause I know at last, it's me who'll end up broken.

Hyunjin: I know you're sleepy.

That's it. He's a mind reader.

This time he held my head sticked up to his shoulder so that I don't remove it. He then slowly started patting and caressing my head as if he were putting me to sleep.

I felt my eyes slowly feeling heavy and heavier and within a matter of seconds, I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of something heavy like a glass falling down. I swayed my hands around to make out if hyunjin was there around me or not, and as expected... he wasn't.

Don't tell me he broke something...

I slowly got up from my bed taking my phone with me and put it on a torch light looking around for him.

"Hyunjin, where did you go?" I called out but silence. It was so silent out here that I could only hear my heartbeat pounding at this very moment.

Hyunjin's POV

*10 minutes ago*

She was sound asleep on my shoulder. I let out a sigh... I never really meant to be that mad at you... I wish I could fix this between us but I guess now you have also started avoiding me.

You tried everything to get back to me but I kept pushing you away, I'm sorry, I just had to do what I had to...

I looked at her, still caressing her soft hair.

So adorable...

I suddenly felt like going to the bathroom, but I'll wake her up.

I tried controlling myself for another minute.

Ugh nevermind, I can't sit like this anymore.

I slowly got up holding her head carefully for support as I pulled my shoulder away otherwise she'll fall flat on her face.

I carefully placed her head down a soft pillow trying my best not to wake her up. I guess she was in a really deep sleep, cause she didn't.

I ran to the bathroom with my torchlight.

Just about 3 minutes later as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, I heard a loud scream which made me flinch.

Yeona? Was that her?!

I ran to where I heard the sound and when I reached, I felt something wet under my feet...

I put the torchlight down on my feet to check what it was, and what I saw made my heart stop.

Blood.
